  • Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden Clear Pops 3-D stickers (08 July 2011)

I don't usually buy this sort of thing as I think it looks cheap but these are REALLY nice!! I took a chance on buying these online as I had purchased the paper at Scrapbook.com and wanted a color coordinated embellishment, just in case I didn't have anyting in my stash that would work. I'd been to the local craft stores and hadn't seen anything by Pink Paislee, so was really taking a leap of faith. I'm SO glad I did!! The pieces are very well made, colors and markings are exquisite and the glitter is not overdone. I love them!!

  • Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden 12 x 12 ds papers Botanical Gardens (08 July 2011)

Oh! These are REALLY nice papers!! Lovely, clear colors, delicate images! Not your usual craft store offering for sure! Paper is heavy weight, smooth and obviously top quality! Am looking for more from Pink Paislee!!

  • Burlin Sponge Daubers (08 July 2011)

These are just perfect for stenciling or for adding color to a small, controlled area. I've used with dye, pigment and chalk inks as well as with ink from water based markers with perfect results. Sized to fit comfortably on an adult female finger. When I compared to the Tsukineko daubers I own I found no difference at all! Priced right too!

  • Burlin Sponge Dauber Storage Box (08 July 2011)

VERY nice! Compact and perfectly divided, sponge daubers fit perfectly, yet are easy to remove. Priced right, easy to store or carry along., I'm very happy with this purchase!

Tim Holtz Texture Fades - Branch Tree & Tall Pines (15 January 2011)

These embossing folders absolutely ROCK!! What a cool idea, leaving room for text or additional images!! The Branch Tree is slightly smaller than the die cut from the same named die, so is a perfect pairing! Same goes for the Pine Tree die and that one is different enough to stand out nicely.

I've embossed onto transparency material with these, colored them with alcohol ink, then mounted them over a die cut tree, then mounted another die cut tree on top. Spectacular!!

Mini Squares Template is a HIT! (15 January 2011)

This template is SO COOL!! I imagine most people would be using it to draw shapes (maybe then cut them out? Like windows....) but I used it as a rubbing plate. The plastic is heavy and I was able to use it with Bristol paper and colored pencils to create a rubbed design for the base design for a journal cover. I am VERY happy with this brand!

Tim Holtz Paper Rosette (15 January 2011)

What an interesting design! This is a SIZZLITS die, so will cut paper and cardstock (but not heavy chipboard or fabric - which would be nice - someday - Tim, are you listening??) Because the die cuts the paper into a long strip with horizontal perforations (for folding), the paper needs to be sturdy enough to survive that punishment........OR you need to reinforce it with a piece of tape (TH's Tissue Tape works nicely!) before folding.

I DID have trouble getting my first rosette together, even after watching the video. But practice!! It's a clever design and looks great when you use Distress ink to give the piece dimension.
