Good But Not Great (31 March 2011)

I really wanted the Martha Stewart boxes which weren't available anywhere. I bought these, and they will work fine. They are reasonably sturdy, but I wouldn't stack more than a couple if they are filled. They hold quite a lot and are generously sized.

A complaint: There's a label holder on the box, but it doesn't come with any labels. When you make your own, you have to be careful and cut them a bit large or they fall right through when you insert them. I noticed the 3 I bought are not all the same size. They differ slightly, so it looks like I have 3 slightly different ones stacked up. I'm OK with that. They also weren't very careful about where they put the paper seams, and the cover paper is cheap looking. They would have looked much better with an orange peel style texture. Since these are in a closet, I care more about functionality.

High Quality and Gorgeous (26 February 2011)

This album is stunningly gorgeous. The textured linen cover is beautiful and the color is so rich and saturated. It's also well constructed with metal corners to protect it. I've been looking for the right album for years and the We R Memory Keepers Linen albums are it. They aren't as heavy as the faux leather, but they are just as sturdy. The only thing I don't like is the label holder on the spine, but I can live with that. These are great albums and you won't disappointed if you purchase them.

Not Happy With These At All (24 January 2011)

I just ordered several types of American Crafts page protectors and I'm not happy with them at all. They are thin and flimsy and the material is not nearly as nice as protectors made by Scrapworks which, unfortunately, is no longer in business. They just feel cheap. I've also ordered some We R Memory Keepers Protectors, but I haven't received them yet, so I can't compare them. These protectors don't fit well in an American Crafts album - I had to push the rings closer together to get them to fit. I can turn only one page at the time because they are so tight. I won't buy these again.

  • Not a Quality Product (24 January 2011)

I just ordered several types of American Crafts page protectors and I'm not happy with them at all. They are thin and flimsy and the material is not nearly as nice as protectors made by Close to My Heart and Scrapworks. They just feel cheap. I've also ordered some We R Memory Keepers Protectors, but I haven't received them yet, so I can't compare them. These protectors don't fit well in an American Crafts album - I had to push the rings closer together tp get them to fit. I can turn only one page at the time because they are so tight. The worst thing is that my 12 x 12 pages stick up 1/8 to 1/4 inch above the edge of the protector, and they pages won't stay in the protectors. I won't buy these again.
