  • Review: Prima - Poppies and Peonies Collection - Donna Downey - Fabric Canvas Album - 7 x 9

    Verified Buyer
    I recommend this product

Fun and different format (29 July 2012)

For anyone wanting to try a fabric art journal or album, this is a well-made and fun format. The pages, canvas and fabric, are removable and the whole thing is bound with two ribbons, so everything is decoratable. And you can by refill pages if you don't embellish with too much dimension that there isn't room for more. :) I like that there's batting between the canvas pages so paints, etc. aren't going to soak through. I've already used gesso and molding paste to prep pages and sprayed with dye sprays right onto the canvas and had no bleed-through. Highly recommended as a great fabric book!

  • Review: Ranger Ink - Inkssentials - Dylusions Ink Spray - Bubblegum Pink

    Verified Buyer
    I recommend this product

    Fabulous (23 June 2012)

The Dylusions sprays are fantastic, very intense, so you can dilute them for tints or leave them as is for bright color. They blend beautifully, too. Try these through stencils or try the ghosting technique with stencil and water. Another great Ranger product!

Makes stapling fun! (17 May 2012)

Who knew how much fun it could be to staple things onto pages? This stapler works very well, is well made and feels like it will last a lifetime at least. The only thing I wish is that it had longer reach, but I don't consider that a major drawback. The staples are so cute I find myself stapling jst for fun with no attachment!

  • Review: Signo - White Uni-ball Impact Pen

    Verified Buyer
    I recommend this product

New best white gel pen (17 May 2012)

I have a couple of gelly roll white pens and they work pretty well, but like shoes, you can never have too many good white pens. ;) I read many of the reviews here and thought it was worth trying the signo, and it was. The signo makes a thicker more consistent line once you get it started. it requires some drying time on less porous surfaces, but it's certainly worth the wait. This is the best white pen for writing on acrylic paint backgrounds that I've tried and I highly recommend it.

  • Review: EK Success - Paper Shapers - Medium Punch - 1 Inch Circle

    Verified Buyer
    I recommend this product

    Excellent design (17 May 2012)

I have several Paper Shapers punches in the old design and wasn't eager to try a new one, but somehow I never managed to get a 1" circle punch. After using this punch I have to say that I like this style better. It's more robust and not as hard on my thumb joints, and I like the lock-flat feature. Definitely recommend highly!
