I've been scrapbooking since 1998 when, like just about every other cropper, I started with Creative Memories. Since then I have expanded my scrapbooking horizons to include not only 12 x 12 albums for my two sons, but mini albums, home decor scrapbooked items and so much more. I knew I had the right hobby when, a few years ago, both my husband and my brother, within a week of each other, each got out my scrapbooks to show their friends pictures. And my 7-year-old can spend the entire evening going through his scrapbooks so I can tell him "his" story. I don't feel quite as selfish taking time to do something I enjoy when I know I'm doing something of value for my family. Now I have been fortunate enough to parlay my love of scrapbooking into a career. I launched Kits2Remember in August 2007, offering stores and scrapbookers acrylic, metal and chipboard panels and project kits that feature them. I also have had the pleasure of teaching scrapbookers across the country, including at the annual Creative Escape event in August 2008. I look forward to the opportunity to inspire many more scrapbookers in the future.
