"Mommy I don't like this man..."
Mommy I don’t like this man
with all the white stuff on his face.
I thought it might be Daddy
but now my heart is starting to race.
Uh-oh, he’s getting closer,
saying, “HO HO HO!”
I don’t want to sit on his lap,
I said, “NO, NO, NO!”
Please take me off this guy’s lap
before I really start to cry!
I’m outta here; you can’t change my mind-
Don’t even try!
(I combined 2 poems together that I found to make this one. The first and last paragraph go together to form the poem by Laura Taylor Mark and the middle paragraph is by Crystal Dawn Perry. I thought they went well together.)
