"Where is Mr. Shoe"

I am looking for Mr. Shoe,
He was quite new.
Left foot he was,
for feet not paws.
Do tell me, please.
I've been searching on my knees.
Where could he be?
That, I cannot see.
He didn't come home one day.
"Goodbye" he did not say.
I think he my be lost,
or worse he could be tossed.
I last seen him in the cart,
I did not see him depart.
Goodbye Mr. Shoe,
we sure will miss you.
