The first born child, the eldest son.
Not the least bit wild, but loads of fun.
Able to converse by the age of two,
With honey-colored hair and eyes of blue.
The things you love are to sit and talk,
Read a book or take a walk.
An ordinary child you are not.
The brainy type is what we've got.
You're still all boy, playing good guys and bad.
But your favorite toy is your dear ol' dad.
Baseball and airplanes, you share together,
Havin' a catch in any kind of weather.
You adore your brother, he's your bestest friend.
You'll stick together 'til the very end.
You love your mommy with all your heart,
And from her side you say you'll never depart.
Loyal and true, wise beyond your years.
Your father's pride, your mother's joyful tears.
A gift from God. Blessing that never ends.
That's our son, Joshua Adam Lenz.
