one maverick
gliding soberly into a maelstrom
inwardly digging
for that goose egg
that single lump of epiphany
shafts of cold white light
skimming through gray cumulo
nimbus
formations
tantalizing glimpses
of a larger area filled with cold white light
sterile
silent
initially peaceful
until echoing silences begin to press too heavily
yearning for warm color
and sunlight
and sound
