"I Will Remember You"

I Will Remember You

I will remember the love you gave so unconditionally

I will remember the joy you brought to so many lives

I will remember the smile you showed so frequently

I will remember you

I will remember the warm breeze of the spring air

I will remember the smell of beer and peanuts

I will remember the sound of a baseball game playing on the TV

I will remember you

I will remember the donuts on Sunday morning after church

I will remember the laughter we shared together watching

The Three Stooges and Abbott and Costello

I will remember the sentimental tears you shed on special occasions

I will remember you

I will remember the songs you sang to me

I will remember the night I watched you dance

I will remember the music that was played

I will remember you

I will remember your patience while teaching me my fractions

I will remember my first driving experience (in a golf cart)

I will remember my first car (an MG Midget) which I didnít get to drive

I will remember you

I will remember your pride in seeing me graduate and get married

I will remember your joy when my daughter was born

I will remember your sorrow when my son was born still

I will remember you

I will remember the four happy years you shared with me watching my daughter grow

I will remember the three sad days you shared with me grieving for my son

I will remember the joys and the pains our family has endured

I will remember you

I will remember your fear when you got the news

I will remember the embrace we shared

I will remember the tears, too

I will remember you

I will remember your courageous struggle to live

I will remember your acceptance of the inevitable

I will remember the peacefulness of your passing

I will remember you
