Fast lane life
Submitted by: Lightprince

This life of ours, the big rat race
For money? For status? Why?
I rather choose to life in God’s grace
Rather to live, make money and die.

People going through live so fast
Too busy to talk, too busy to say hi
Too busy for anything, thinking their live is a blast
And when they die, there is no one to say goodbye.

Is that the live you want, I ask you
So stressful, sorrowful, so blue?

There is a solution to this
To make your life a bliss

The Lord is my Shepherd
He cares for me
He lays me down in green pastures
Gives me rest, calmness, in His tranquillity

He knocks on the door of your heart
He cries out to you
“Do not let us be so far apart,
No need for life to be blue,
For I am you Shepherd
who cares for you,
let Me in make your live anew!”

All you people in life’s rat race
Cast you burdens on to Jesus
Let Him slow your pace.

Prayer:

Oh God, thank you for your love, mercy, and grace
For freeing me from life’s big race.

Thank you my Father, caring so much for me
So many times I forget and try to live life alone
But still you call out to me, to set me free
Thank you for the love you have shown.

Amen
