Dear Father

This is a letter of thanks to You
For making my life anew
I was lost, You found me
You told me I am Yours for eternity

My Father I thank You for life abundantly
For grace and mercy You show my unconditionally
With Your blessings, You shower onto me

For friends, people so true
They show me love, appreciation
They show me You

It is not what we reap but what we sow
And in my life I want it to show
Being Your’s child is not by what we say
It is rather shown by what we pray.

So help me be there for others, like they are there for me
To give, to bless those people so they may see
Not me but rather You, my God in me

May my selfish I bend to a C
I want to praise You for eternity
Let me be a blessing in this world to all
Through me, help the people who fall

Make me an instrument in Your hands
Make me follow and do all of Your commands
A soldier, a brother, a friend
For You to all the people until the end
