"First Birthday"

From the moment I laid eyes on you.
You chose us as your parents, I knew.
I think we knew you from before,
A nagging feeling, I canít ignore.
I canít believe one yearís gone by,
When having fun, time really does fly.
Youíve changed from a tiny baby,
To a precious little lady,
And on this day, we celebrate you.
How far youíve come and what youíll do.
We wish for you not a moment less,
Than eternal health and happiness.
