"A Harbor Tour"

He surprised me with a twilight trip,
Aboard a grand tall sailing ship.
Down the river amid harbor lights,
Savoring Portsmouth’s many sights.

A songster strummed his guitar low,
His melody through the ship did flow.
Gently rocked by the evening’s tides,
Lulled by slaps on wooden sides.

And flapping sails in darkened skies,
As moonlight glows in lovers’ eyes.
And we sailed away on a twilight trip,
Aboard a grand tall sailing ship.
