BE HAIR OR BE SQUARE!
Submitted by: Sunshine Manz Spiggy

I remember like it was yesterday, when she had lots of time to play

Stepping down memory lane, clear as crystal, even through rain

her sailor moon fringe, her long horse tail, was as long as a black funeral veil

So thick with bobbing waves of curls, It once belonged to a little girl

But unfortunately to her dismay, jealous children cut it away

Her Aunt, the hair dresser cut it in a whizz, She was left with a change and some frizz

though she did not seem to mind or gave much thought, but afterwards, sometimes she was quite distraught!

And today can be a disastrous war, and she wonders if her hair before,

if it was still the same like yesterday, her hair would be long and MORE gray!

So like Princess Rapunzel, you know the tale, through love and tears, she lost her long veil

And so the little girl now almost 22 years old, her memory of her long hair she holds,

No her hair was not gray but will be in time, I just said that so it would rhyme!

So with or without your long black hair, Life goes on, be hair be square!

Be happy with what you have and had long ago, life is full of change, mystery and on the go!

Rapunzel lived happily ever after............and that is what I am after!
