"WAITING"

It does not matter when…
I will wait for you
Your memories will be my strength
Your name in my every pray’r

Time remains unkind
To poor loving souls like mine
Time could have forgotten
To meet my life with love

What can I offer you but my heart
With only your name engraved
How I long to hold your hand
To walk the avenue of dreams.

You look so lovely with your hair
Your timid smile and fair skin
Your eyes pepping from your hat
Together with you in reverie.

I waited yesterday. ..as I waited today
Time remains cruel but I await..
Nothing can stop me tomorrow
Here for you I shall wait and stay…
