"My Birthday"
All I ever wanted out of this life
Was to raise my kids, be happy and make someone a good wife
I've suffered through mostly failure so far
I've got one child raised with a decent car
I feel like I get punished for being born
Because for every birthday there comes a storm
It's always bad things that happen to me
Right around my birthday for the world to see
I came into this world when the weather was bad
Guess that was a warning I'd always be sad
I've hated every birthday since I was eighteen
Hopefully I can have a good one somewhere in between
My present time and the day I die
Just one birthday to smile and not cry
