"Just for Me"

I thought of you my darling
As I watched the sunrise glow
And the bright and lovely colors
Seemed to thrill and fill me so

All the world was quiet and peaceful
Everything was very right
As the sun began to waken
From its long sleep of the night

And it seemed this lovely setting
God had given just to me
To remind me to be grateful
For the fact that I could see

But of all the gifts He's given
And of all the things He's done
The best and brightest dear is you
And think--we've just begun!

So when I thanked God for the show
He planned for me to see
I thanked Him for the special girl
Who's also just for me.
