"You're a Fairy Tale Come True"

When I was younger long ago
I read with childish zeal
Of knights and fairy princesses
And wished that they were real

I entered then in books and dreams
To magic lands of old
Where wizard mages stalked the land
And knights were brave and bold

The maidens in this fairy land
Were always bright and gay
But when I reached to join their band
They'd quickly fade away

I still held close those memories
And then when I met you
I knew at once the dreams were real
You're a fairy tale come true.
