Product Questions for EZ Mount Stamp N Store - Static Cling Mounting Foam for Stamps - 1/16 Inch Thickness

I use the thicker foam when remounting my stamps, whether or not the backing is on the rubber after I have removed it from the wood. I feel the thicker mounting foam gives a little more cushion and makes a better image when I stamp. If the backing stays on the rubber, make sure the whole piece of backing is on it, not just here and there. Large, heavy stamps can be a problem on the Misti after they have been remounted to foam. I have heard you can use repositionable tape runner to help those large, heavy stamps adhere better to the Misti but I have not tried that yet. I've used both, depending on the size of the stamps I'm mounting on it. If it's a small stamp (say, the size of a penny or smaller, or a sentiment that might be long but not tall) I used the 1/16".
