As one of a group of 8 friends who gather several times a year to celebrate birthdays, and take photos of the occasions, I was looking for an inexpensive album. I wanted to do a scrapbook of our photo collection for each of the girls as a gift. This album is perfect. Sturdy and attractive, perfect size for 1 photo per page and additional pages available, AND the best part is I can customize the cover for each of my friends to match their personalities! This is going to be FUN!
I bought this album to do a CJ. I have never altered an album before and this was so easy to do! This is not a flimsy chipboard album, it is very sturdy. I didn't cover up the black part, it is a soft fabric. I just used a good adhesive to apply the paper, cut the paper down to size, and then inked the edges. A great way to make an album personalized, to make it yours!! Thanks sb.com for such great products!
I've been through the old crummy destroy-your-photos album stage, the Creative Memories album stage, the new but cheap album stage, but now I think I've found the albums for me. This album is sturdily made with archival materials, MUCH easier to add pages to than a strap-binding or post-bound album, and, the cover is eminently customizable. Yes, I'll be getting many more of these, in different sizes and colors.
I decorated the chipboard but did not completely cover it with paper, i love the a naked look it gave! this album is perfect for vacation albums, recipes, or a quick wedding album. Super sturdy, will hold up nicely! And not a bad price either!

This album is very sturdy and quite easy to customize. I love the solid black color, but it does show dirt/dust pretty easily. If you are going to be handling it a lot. I'd recommend a different color. It's a great album though. Really cute and easy to use.

Like the book & the idea of embellishing the cover myself. Very sturdy & well made. Don't like the fact that the rings add so much to the overall size of the album, but not sure there is any way to avoid that.
I bought this album to use for the Jessica Sprague Stories At Hand class. It worked great. I just used a good adhesive and adhered my patterned paper to the covers. I inked the bare edges and it turned out great. This album is sturdy and works great.
