I have several small album that hold ten sheets. They have posts. Of course, they can be extended. However, there is a struggle in getting the extra protectors in and the ever-threat of the album popping open.
So, I purchased the American Crafts 12X12 Album and the American Crafts Page Protectors to go with them. I can move the whole page if I want, they are wider, flipping won't bend them. I can put more of these in the large ring binder.
I think the decision was the best I ever made!

If you own an American Crafts 3 ring album (which I HIGHLY recommend) then this is the perfect fit.
I like that the area on the side where the holes are, is thicker and wider then most page protectors. being a bit wider means that your pages don't get bent up when you are flipping through your album.
I tried using other page protectors with my album, but found that American Craft page protecters are the best fit.
I like these page protectors because they are so sturdy and a bit larger than 1212. Finished pages slip in and out so easily and I don't have to cut my 12 X 12 paper to fit -- which is what I had to do when using Pioneer 12x12 protectors. The extra bit of space also allows for thicker items to fit well in the pocket. Will continue to order them as I need them.
One can never have enough page protectors, and these fit into the American Crafts binders perfectly. However, they can also be cut, sewn and otherwise altered for other scrapbooking projects -- mini albums are a perfect example, or sewn onto a scrapbook page around a photo, etc.
I loved the album that these pages went in but wanted more pages for concerts I have gone to. these worked great & so glad I have more. I ordered another album like the one I already had but a different color. Can't wait to add it to my collection.
I looked everywhere in my area for 12x12 page protectors, and finally found them on line at a very good price. Scrapbook.com shipped quickly and took care to package my merchandise carefully. I will continue to shop here.
I took Stacy Julian's Libarary of Memories Class and now use American Craft's Modern albums with these page protectors. They are nice and roomy and fit pages with embellishments.
When my local Archiver's store closed I was heartbroken since I found no other local store stocking American Crafts albums and page protectors! I have a couple albums yet, but didn't have enough page protectors to continue my scrapbooking. I really like the ease of use of American Crafts binder albums and page protectors!!!
They're always a great protector, my favourite brand for my albums. However, this time my page protectors arrived in the mail crumpled and I can't get them straight again unfortunately. But, this is rare and they're usually great!
I bought these page protectors to add to my AC album. Great quality and sturdy edges. I was concerned about tearing but they are so durable that I haven't had that problem. I love that these pages are 3 ring binder for the AC D ring albums-perfect for rearranging.
I just bought these and they are very high quality, nice and thick, little shine, and I am using a scrapbook welding tool to make divide the pages to hold products and they are thick enough to handle it...excellent product
My first order was great, easy and prompt. I live in Australia and even tho we have scrapbook suppliers here this product isn't available here. Its nice to just order and have it delivered sometimes you have to see the product before purchasing. I like this product.
I just ordered several types of American Crafts page protectors and I'm not happy with them at all. They are thin and flimsy and the material is not nearly as nice as protectors made by Close to My Heart and Scrapworks. They just feel cheap. I've also ordered some We R Memory Keepers Protectors, but I haven't received them yet, so I can't compare them. These protectors don't fit well in an American Crafts album - I had to push the rings closer together tp get them to fit. I can turn only one page at the time because they are so tight. The worst thing is that my 12 x 12 pages stick up 1/8 to 1/4 inch above the edge of the protector, and they pages won't stay in the protectors. I won't buy these again.
