Sewing flourishes and flowers is much easier than sewing words. They are further apart and the paper does not get as weak and tear between segments. These are fabulous as subtle embellishments in my lickety-split album. Be careful about tying your knots- in fact, don't. Tape the ends down so you don't have bumps under your paper.
This template is a must have! I love adding bling to my cards and layouts but buying the individual jewel designs adds up. These are perfect for stickles. I line up the stencil and make a small dot with a pencil then add dots of stickles over the pencil to make great looking, cheap, embellishment in no time!

These jewel templates are such a great concept. You can use them to create flourishes and flowers from loose jewels and I have also used them with stickles and liquid pearls to make extremely cost-effective embellishments. Thanks Bazzill!
