These lunchpails kits make great gifts - I LOVE the papers that are included. The card instructions are so easy to follow and the cards are adorable when constructed. I've made several lunchpails for friends this year. Two of the completed lunchpails will go to friends who work. I've tucked travel-sized lotion, mouthwash, hairspray, comb, etc. in with the cards and postage stamps so they can write cards on their breaks and carry the box to the ladies room to freshen up during the day. (Thanks to the person who posted this idea on the boards.) The lunchpail is the perfect size to fit into a desk drawer.
I needed a place to store greeting cards. It is a bonus that it is fun to decorate and it looks great when complete. I love the Basic Grey papers and the Blush papers are beautiful. This is a great gift for a scrapper/card maker. I bought one for my 13 year old grand daughter, she enjoys making cards. The plain kit would be great to customize with other papers.
I would have given this kit a five star review, but for having to adjust the pattern, which is a little too small, for the top of the pail, and I would have liked some ribbons with the fibers. Neither the letters, nor the pattern for the word "Cards" are included. The papers that come in the kit are FABULOUS. The instructions are easy to follow. Finished it sits on a shelf in a bookcase and looks lovely. A great place to store all my greeting cards with their envelopes. I love this kit and would recommend it to anyone. If you buy it, don't forget to click on the download (in the product discription) for the instructions and pattern for the top.
