This is exactly what I needed! I really didn't have an efficient method of storing my fingertip daubers before, and, as a result, I've wasted and/or lost a lot of them. This box puts an end to the waste and gives me the storage solution that I've been looking for. I've already purchased four of these and will buy more in the future as my ink pad and chalk palette collections continue to expand.
Now, instead of having them all over the place in unsightly sandwich bags, all of my sponge daubers are labeled and stored alphabetically and by medium (two boxes for ink and two for chalk). Everything is neat and clean, and the diminutive size of the box makes it very easy to take my daubers with me to crops. And it's impossible for the box to open by accident because there are two snug, fail-safe sliding locks on it!
A great product and an excellent value!
I ordered three of these...two arrived fine, one was cracked in shipping. I actually ordered one extra just because I had read about this problem on other reviews. I don't really need the third one, and figured I could give it as a gift or use it for portable storage, where it will likely get cracked later, anyway.
Other than being fragile, the box is great for organizing your daubers. It does the job it's intended to do, and it is pretty much exactly as pictured, so that's why I'm giving it 5 stars.
One problem you might have is that the daubers are stored dirty side up, so you might get inky fingers pulling one out if it was used recently. Would have been better if it had a foam insert with holes where the daubers fit in snugly, with the sponge part down, and enough of the "handle" part showing enough to allow for labeling of the color name.
I started with an Altoid box as a tray and quickly ran out of space. I looked at Containers and all the hobby stores. No products out there were the right fit. I remember seeing this box at a rubber stamp convention and was so glad to find it again and at a great sale price. I was shocked and very pleased to find them on my porch within 2 days of the order! The boxes arrived in excellent condition, the plastic was better quality than expected based on some of the reviews. Locking devices are a great feature and the download chart is very helpful. It's a nice compact size with enough space between each dauber and shallow enough to be able to retrieve the dauber easily. I love love this container and wished I ordered more even though I don't need them yet. Thank you!
This case exceeded my expectations in quality for the price I paid for it! The acrylic is crystal clear, and thick, not flimsy like other cases I have seen at craft stores.
The back hinges are well constructed, with a metal pin through the center for stability, and the front latches slide easily, but with a snug fit so the lid won't pop open.
The inner dividers are shallow enough to be able to grab the dauber you want easily, and the daubers sit with enough clearance in the case that you could add a piece of paper to the inside lid with a "map" to list which dauber has which color ink on them. (If you do choose to make a color coded list for the lid, I would still recommend adding a piece of window plastic over the list to help keep it clean and ink free)
I've now bought sixteen of these boxes; one for myself and fifteen for the women in my scrap booking and card-making classes. Everyone who sees this box wants one. I'd tried several other methods for storing ink and chalk daubers but was unhappy with either the visibility or the accessibility of the daubers or the portability of the storage container itself. This box gets highest marks for all three. The only downside of these is that they are made of styrene plastic and crack easily. This certainly doesn't affect their ability to do what they're designed to do. Price is excellent and I'd recommend purchasers buy several while they're in stock.
The storage boxes arrived at my door in excellent condition. They were well packed to prevent damage. Thank you so much for having this item in your store, it is fabulous! The dauber box is very well made of heavy plastic with good locking closures. I am absolutely thrilled with the product. I ordered 4 boxes which helped make up for shipping charges. So, don't order just one - buy more so that you have room to grow and the shipping is the same (for Canada) for one as it is for four. Also, I have looked for these boxes and Scrapbook.com is the only store I have found them. Thanks again for a wonderful product!!!
I love the sponge dauber storage box. I have one and will be ordering another. I numbered all my ink pads and put the same number on a dauber and numbered each hole in the case. So when I pull my ink pad to use on a project I immediately see the number say 25 and I go to my dauber case and pull the dauber out of hole 25. When I am done, my duaber has number 25 on it and i put it back into the case slot 25. This keeps me from trying to distinquish the color on my dauber and saves me a lot of time. Happy stamping..
I edge/distress almost everything in my scrapbooks, so I go through a LOT of daubers. These cases are great! I've purchased several for myself and several more as gifts. I am particularly fond of the slide lock, which keeps the top of the case locked in case it gets knocked over - everything stays in place and the colors don't rub into each other. My purchase was excellent but more that that I truly appreciate the customer service of your company! I had an order I didn't receive. It was delevered USPS but I never saw it. It could have blown away or maybe never delivered. I called just to ask a question about the order & was told my merchandise wwould be replaced at no cost. I originally saw these on a stamper's blog. This is the only site that I found where they could be purchased. Unfortunately they were out of stock. I signed up for the notification of when they came back in stock. Ordered them when I got that. Shipping time was reasonable. Shipping charges were very reasonable. It is a great product. Really like the tabs that slide and lock it closed. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and shopping experience.
I gave these sponge dauber storage cases to my scrapping and card-making friends for Christmas gifts. And they were a BIG hit! The bases (finger hold sections) are wide enough to adhere a label specifying which ink color was used on that dauber. The sponges don't need to be cleaned after each use, and you don't have to worry about getting unintended color on your projects because they store safely and cleanly away! You'll love these and the price!
I saw these at a unit meeting for a company I belong to (Close To My Heart) and loved it. Another consultant had it and labeled each dauber with a different color so that we don't mess up our inks (we have a 60 color palette). I said to myself that I had to have one of these and ended up ordering one for me and one for my mother!!! I love them and it fits rights into my rolling tote. Couldn't have made a better product to store the daubers in!
When I purchased the daubers, I knew for my organizational needs, I had to have this. I am extremely glad that I purchased this. I can clearly see in the box what I'm looking for with no hassles. The slide locks are nice as well, it holds it securely, so I have no worries when I store it on its side in my small cubby. They would also be great to travel to a crop with because the are so compact. It's much better than using a q-tip with!
A fellow scrapper showed me this storage box that she puchased for her daubers. I searched the web and found them at Scrapbook.com. After reading the reviews about cracked cases, I was a bit leary about ordering them but they were such a great buy, I thought, "What the heck?" They were beautifully individually with thin bubble wrap and they crushed up paper to keep them stationary in the shipping carton. Perfecto! Great purchase.
This is so helpful and space-saving. I bought 3 packs of daubers and I now have one for each distress ink (and plenty of other ink pads.) I find this such a handy alternative to the blending tool because I have a foam applicator for each one but only one tool. So I have to pick them out of a ziplock bag and change them out when I use a different color. This is going to be my go-to tool for distress inks now. (Sorry Tim.)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS! I bought 4 of them. 1 for myself and 3 for friends. This is one of the best, most useful storage solution purchases I have made in a long time. My friends and I sell and use lots of Stampin' Up products and use the daubers on literally everything to highlight, accent and so on. Storage was always an issue. PROBLEM SOLVED! Not only will it hold 40 sponge daubers but Scrapbook.com even gives you a template to print out to keep track of those forty daubers. I have two paper crafting clubs that engage in lots of sponging, so having all my ink colors marked on the grid on the lid saves me time during class. These cases are very sturdy and the sliding locks provide security. You even get a free sponge dauber with your purchase!
This is an awesome product. It is a fantastic way to organize and store sponge daubers. This box is neat and compact and won't take up much room in a drawer or table top. The only way this product could be better is if there were a paper grid in the top of the box so that one could label which color dauber was in which space. I plan to make one for my box. I have recommended this to all of my friends.
This sponge dauber storage box is absolutely wonderful! It fits the daubers perfectly, is compact and a great way to store the daubers. I plan on labeling the individual compartments with the ink name so I know which dauber to use with which ink. (Yes, I do love organization!!!)
If you like using daubers--then this is the way to go for storing them!

just received it and already inserted the daubers -- very cool! spent too long keeping used daubers in little bags all over the place as it never made sense to toss them -- this looks very organized! and the nice thing -- the height in each square is just a little higher than the daubers, so they should smudge or press on the cover. now off to fill it up!
I LOVE these cute little boxes! You have all of your sponge daubers at your fingertips without having to search through a plastic ziplock bag, which is the way I used to store mine. On the bottom of the box I put small labels and wrote the name of the ink on that particular sponge dauber taking all of the guesswork out of finding the exact one I need.
Finally a way to keep all the colors of chalk, paint or ink seperate and still handy to use. An awesome idea and all in such a small package. You can take it with you on crops or just about anywhere. I am so glad I was surfing the net and found this store and product. No more pieces of sponge or paper or qtips laying around, now a place for everything.
I have tried to find something to store my Sponge Daubers in so they weren't rolling around on my table. This box is the only one that fits them perfectly! I am very happy I ordered not one, but two of these. Now I have one for home and one for classes. I really like the way the closures have slide locks so I don't have to worry about spillage as well.
Terrific product. No more looking around for daubers that are stuck everywhere and falling around in my crop bag, they're all together in one container. It's a great scrappers accessory. My daughter got hers first and when I saw how organized the daubers could be, I had to get one too! Good product and very reasonably priced.
This box is the best solution for storing my daubers. It was very inexpensive, holds 40 daubers securely. Only one request, I do not have a printer to download the color chart that you can put in the cover of the case, so possibly adding that to the order for a small fee would make this perfect. No more storing daubers in baggies.
I love this container. I have tried to find something for my daubers for over 2 years. The only fault I have with it is that it doesn't hold 48 daubers instead of 40. I am a Stampin Up" Demonstrator and we have 4 color families of 12 each in our stamp pads. You would just need to add another row. Think about it. I'd buy it.
I bought two of these. They're perfectly sized to hold the daubers. It's so easy to be able to see the colors and put the color families together. Mine were rolling around in a flat box and I needed to keep turning them right side up to see the colors. Great invention! Easy transaction - good people to do business with!

My sponge daubers have a new home, a lovely little box with cozy little nooks for each of them. Their home has a nice view that enables me to see and access a dauber for each of my ink pads. No more muddy multi color messes for me...no more zip lock bags smeared with color....I love this box

This has saved me a great deal of time. I was all ways having to wash each dauber after use, now I invested in this great little case and daubers so I have dedicated daubers for all my colors I used all the time and spare for colors I hardly ever use....this is a time saver for sure !
If you're an organization freak like me, you definetely need this litter box. With all my various stamping pads I like having a dauber for each color and this is the best I've found to prevent them neat and tidy. I always know which goes with which ink pad and saves a ton of time.
I love these boxes and purchased 2 more after I bought my first one. I am an avid "inker" and this product keeps my daubers in order and protects them and my other supplies from the ink remnants. I can dedicate a dauber for each of my stamp pad and reinker colors to use repeatedly.

This little box holds the daubers safe and sound in their only little cubby, leaving enough room to grab...I love it. I purchased 4 of them now I just need to get more daubers. I will use one for chalks, and another for reinkers. This is a fantastic product!

This little box works great for the storage of the sponge daubers--what a great idea! I printed the guide off, then daubed on each color separately, wrote the name of the ink color on the corresponding space, and stored the dauber in the corresponding place--perfect!
I have had one of these for several years now, full of the sponge dauber,s and it's one of the most convenient systems to have for a stamper to use for sponging on their cards. This purchse is a Christmas present for a friend. She was always admiring the one I have.
The only thing that I would have loved even more is if the container had come with the dauber's........of course with the extra charge for the dauber's, that would be a great deal if you could come up with the right price as another great deal! Good luck!
This is an excellent storage tool. Perfect size for a small drawer, and easy to open. Love the locking slides so the daubers don't fall out. Clear case design allows to view what is inside at a glance. These are perfect and exactly what I was looking for.
I love having things organised and easy to find and this is just the thing I needed. I have used my label machine to catagorize the colours and have also labeled each dauber individually. Now I know at a glance which dauber is for what colour. Thank you.
What a perfect case for all of my daubers! I just love the finger daubers and like to keep my colors separate, so this is the best organizer for them. The size is great and I can now take all of them with me when I go to retreats! Highly recommended.

Lots of inquiries about this little gem at the crop last weekend. Bought another for my friend and her eyes lit up. The site didn not offer to print the index of squares you put in the lid, tho', but I am sure I can jury rig that!
This storage box is perfect. It is compact, holds a number of daubers, and the closure devices work very well. It is made well, and they even offer a downloadable grid to put inside the top to mark what colors your daubers are.

Awesome item. I was able to label each spot for the dauber colors and even my daubers. The case locks closed and it keeps the daubers in it's own little home without moving around when it is in my tote. Yeah!

When I received my box, it had 4 cracks, one on each corner on the fron of the lid and 2 just above the hinges on the lid. I don't know how long it will last. But I love it for keeping my daubers.
My daubers were getting to be a mess. Now they are all visible and I inked a square of paper and dropped in the spot where it should be stored so I know where to put it back. How cool is that?
Love these storage boxes for my daubers! It keeps them so need, separate and easy to find. You can even match them up to the chalk "boxes" . It works out great! In fact, I have to get more!

I was at a convention recently and saw this item. it took about 3 weeks for me to find someplace that sold it. until now my daubers have been in baggies - this will keep them organized.

The product itself is awsome however the two I received were quite scratched on the surfaces. I did send and email about this already but got no response.
This dauber case is just the correct size and love how it closes. No close calls of it coming open. Just the right height also, no flat topped daubers.

I really like this sponge dauber storage box. My ONLY complaint would be that it's a bit difficult for me to open it when the slider locks are closed. I don't have much strength in my hands and these are quite tight. Were it not for that I would rate it 5 full stars. I solved the problem for myself by just not locking it. Very well made and wrapped well for shipping. I would recommend it to anyone needing storage for their sponge daubers.
This is a great, easy to use storage for your daubers. However, if it had a removable lid it would be even greater!! I keep it in a drawer or on my desk and the lid is in the way. I need the lid for travel or other times when I don't want them to fall out but I really want the lid out of the way on my desk and in the drawer.
it is a wonderful item. I was always loosing my daubers and had to wash them out to use another color. Now I have one for every color and I can find them now when I want them. its strong, study and it locks. I have droped and all that happened is fall on the floor. If you can't tell I love it and the price is gREAT!
This is handy to keep the daubers organized and ready for use. I wish they had one about 1/2 the size it would be easier to take to a class or crop. I know I have wasted a lot of daubers because I couldn't find it when I needed it. This will save me some money in the long run.
love the use of this case the only problem is that it don't travel good in shippment get many of them damage but Scrapbook.com have a great customer service so they care of it and replace them. Amber at customer service is very friendly and help me every time Hooray for Amber.
These little guys are really helpers and I never knew I needed them until I ordered the box which came with one dauber. After using one dauber, I ordered a set & you can't beat the price for the box or the daubers. The box would also double as a small embellishment box.
This is a great way to keep track of those wandering little daubers and to keep them organized. I am a little concerned that the plastic might crack and break, but it is well worth the try. I do wish the postage were less expensive, but the product is well worth the money.
I love the box-and the printable color sample grid we can download is very helpful (thanks Scrapbook!) BUT you should know daubers with individual caps will NOT fit in this box. So when you reorder daubers don't get that kind. Get the kind shown without the cap.
I had ordered three of these boxes with one being damages in transit. I called and right away you sent out a replacement only to receive it damaged as well. You graciously refunded my money because of being out of stock. Customer service was superb!
I don't like the products name Gary M. Burlin on the top of the dauber lid storage. I like to put a picture in the lid and the 4 names interfers with it. The guys name might be fine if it was once but he puts it on the lid 4 times. Over kill.
I really like this storage box and really wanted to give it a 4 3/4 stars. The only minor issue I have is, it is difficult to tell if the slide closures are open or closed.
It's good to have a box with a lid to hold the daubers. The only thing wrong with the box is that it's hard to move the black closures as they don't seem to fit well.

The inside of this is really, really nice. It's great quality and for that, I'd give it 5 stars.
However, the outside has a huge imprint that reads Gary M. Burlin and Co . It's HUGE and it won't peel off. I'll have to put something over it which is a shame.
The mechanism for opening and shutting is a bit difficult to use but it might be more me than anyone else. Still, if you have arthritis in your fingers, please keep that in mind.
This is s great box for sponge daubers. Any will fit - buying from scrapbook.com or CTMH....they hold so many. The only thing that makes this item only get 3 stars is that it needs something to make labels so that we know what ink colors they are. Otherwise, great!
Would recommend the dauber storage box but you need to be careful with it the plastic is hard and will crack easy. Nice to have the dauber labeled and accessible.
I LOVE this product! Absolutely love. I use my ink pads 900 percent more. I don't really like the Ranger handle thing that Tim Holtz has, but these little daubers are perfect. And how do you keep them? If you've a lot of inks it's hard to keep organized, but not with this box! I took my Memento Dew Drops, each comes with a tiny label, and I placed the label on the bottom of the box so I always know what color goes with which dauber.

I have wasted hand over fist on sponge daubers. I just never seemed organized enough to label them and then even when I did...can we say messy! This is the answer to my prayers and pocketbook. :0) I placed a grid label in the top so I know what color goes where. Then used decorated scrapbook paper to decorate the tops. So cute! I would highly recommend this product.
Excellent. Just what I was looking for and at a price that couldn't be beaten. It holds the daubers and keeps them separate from each other (much neater and cleaner than the ziplock bag I was using), is easy to open but stays shut when transporting. Now I can have daubers dedicated to specific colors ensuring a perfect outcome every time I stamp. Thanks so much.
While the shipping was a little high.. I love my dauber holder~!! I have tried labeling my daubers with dymo labels & they always fall off. I found this to be a perfect solutiion. The container seems to be made for these size daubers & it even came with 1 dauber~! Thanks for offering this great organizational tool!!
I *love* these! I bought the first one at a scrap expo (ridiculously expensive) before I found these. Same exact product for much, much less. I love the locking hinges, and the box has separators to keep the daubers from touching. I bought extras because I know my friends will want them.
Fantastic way to keep those dauber in their place! Lots of storeage with 40 spots and the ink color name can be put on the inside of the lid. Lid locks securely so there is no spilling out or mess. LOVE these boxes...you'll need more than one!

Received the sponge dauber storage boxes and am very pleased with the product. I feel they are very affordable and of good quality. Would be nice if they came with more daubers in them, but then we can always wish, right? I would very much recommend buying these.
This is the perfect way to store sponge daubers. Not only is the compartmented case sturdy, there are sliding locks on the latches to prevent accidentally dumping them. Scrapbook.com shipped my cases quickly and the S/H was very reasonable. Highly recommended!
This is an awesome way to store sponge daubers. I'll be making a chart so I can keep track of which dauber is used for each color and won't be wasting them. I bought separate boxes to store my dye inks and pigment inks as well as pastels.
I have been wanting something to organize all the sponges I use with my CTMH inks. This is perfect and I plan on labeling each one with ink pad color used on dauber that way I can always find one I am looking for, instead of guessing!
This was a great find - very sturdy and compact, perfectly sized for sponge daubers. I love it that I don't have to dig around in a plastic bag or tiny compartment of a floss storage box which was my previous storage solution.

Great storage box for daubers. It has a separate storage spot for 30 daubers which is great. Loved the idea enough that I got 3 boxes...one for me and 2 for gifts. Gift recipients loved the boxes.

I managed to get one box and 30+ daubers from here. Fell in love with using them (addictive!) and that began my journey of SOL . Always out of stock, even when I'd get an email they were in stock and run over here, out of stock again. SO, I did my google research and found a very similar dauber (almost identical) and a nice Artbin case, and both were lower prices. NEVER again will I try to buy these, especially here. I don't waste my time anymore shopping at places that have half their inventory out of stock all the time, and that is what Scrapbook.com has become. Used to love you, now don't even think about you.

The idea of these are good and convenient.
I bought three one for myself and two for two friends.
One of them had a large crack in the left front corner which caused it to be hard to the close. The other two were alright.
It had several cracks, broken hinge, and a corner was chipped off before shipping. It should have never shipped in such poor condition.
