I love wooden stamps but hate the large amount of space needed to store them. When I saw this product on a podcast I knew this was the answer to my prayers.
When they arrived, very quickly I might add, I was so excited. I went to my scrapcorner and immeditally started pulling my stamps apart~Bad Idea~one day I will learn to read directions first=) But once I got everything together and did as I was told, everything worked great.
I had a large bag and a few boxes full of wood mounted stamps so I purchased 4 sheets to get me started. 85% of my stamps have been converted and only one sheet has been used. AWESOME product.
I use StazOn black ink to stamp my image on the cling side of the foam. The sticky side is REALLY sticky so I have to clean my Xacto knife often. Sometimes I use scissor but find that they tend to cut at an angle. My stamped image does not always line up perfectly with the rubber stamp but its a good guide and allows me to quickly find exactly what Im looking for.
Now instead of storing my rubber stamps in a disorganized bag or box, they are in clear CD cases, organized and easy to get to. The best part, they take up at least 200% less space then they did before! Oh, and some of the wooden blocks have been converted to new tools, such as a ink dabber by adding a little velcro and some felt. Adding a few holes with a drill , the larger blocks are perfect paint brush holders.
IF you want to make certain that your unmounted rubber stamps stick to a surface, this is it! The only drawback is needing to clean your scissors mid-way through cutting them out. By that I mean, after cutting out 5 or so the scissors needed to be cleaned with fingernail polish remover to get the adhesive off the scissors. There is no question that the material will hold the stamps.
I have been searching and searching for a product like this. I make my own custom clear stamps and never been happy with the double sided tape to hold them to the block. This product is just the thing! Clings great and then peels off the block when done. I will continue to purchase this product and highly recommend.
Only thing that would make this product better is someone to cut my stamps and cling out for me. Works like a charm. Finally got all my loose stamps mounted and use them like I need to. Using this product allows me to add to my stamp collection so EZzzzy and affordable.
Very easy to use. Make sure you have a good sharp pair of scissors. I stayed away from unmounted stamps for years because I had no idea how to use them and didn't want to bother with using spray glue. These are great. Read the directions and you can't go wrong.
This was my first experience with having to attach rubber to cling mount foam. I was very nervous, but the directions were very clearly written and it turned out to be very easy to do.
This is a hard item to find. I converted my rubber stamps mounted to wood to cling mounting. This free up space and I can find all my easie stamps.. Will shop again at Scrapebook....
I LOVE UNMOUNTED STAMP SINCE IS EASY TO STORAGE. AND EZ MOUNT IS EASY TO USED AND GIVE YOU A GOOD QUALITY WHEN THEY CLING AND ALSO EASY TO CUT. LOVE IT!!
This is a wonderful product. I have always shied away from purchasing unmounted rubber stamps until I discovered the EZ Mount foam.
It was great, so easy to use, just like the name EZ Mount. Its works great! you just need a pair of sharp scissors.
amazing sticky-ness, but can be "re"positioned if absolutely need be. And the cling side works amazingly well too.
I've used this product for several years when mounting rubber stamps. It does a great job.
This was perfect for what I needed it for. The stamps work perfectly with this backing!
I have been purchasing unmounted rubber stamps for awhile now and am very pleased with the EZ Mount Stamp N Store product. Just like it says, it's easy to apply so your stamps are ready to use on an acrylic block. The adhesive is really strong so once you put the stamp in place it's stuck for good. I did find it a little difficult to cut out around the stamp even though I used a good pair of scissors so it does take a little patience. Overall, it's a great way to save money on rubber stamps and so easy to store.
This product does what it is supposed to but it shouldn't be named EZ. I found it hard to work with, but, I don't know any way to make it easier. It is definitely sticky!
I love this stuff it has seen me through alot of my unmounting my stamps and I wouldn't use anything else.
