Make an exception for this one! I got my Cricut after Thanksgiving this year and the mats were brand new and very sticky. I couldn't get the die cuts off without the paper curling up on what I had just cut, and especially on the leftover paper. I went out the next day and saw the whole tool kit for the Cricut, but didn't think I needed all of those items. I ended up getting this spatula for around $5, and it's really the only thing I need for getting paper and die cuts off the mats. Now that the mat has been used a few times, it's easier to get the paper off, but this is still an invaluable tool. Worth every penny!

I told my honey that I really didn't need the Cricut tools, but oh my gosh!! He bought me this little spatula. It is a dream to use! I absolutely love it. How important is it? Well my 2 yr old loves it also and now I can't find it. So, scrapping without it is a little testy at times. The intricate pieces are hard to remove, my fingernail bends the paper, and it is harder to clean the mat. So.....get one!! Keep it handy. You will love it.

I love this tool! I recently bought one, and Im glad I did! I wish I would have bought one when I got my cricut. I dont know how many projects I had to re-do because when I tried to pull them off the pad, they would rip. It makes it so much easier to get the "dots" of the letter "i" without losing it, or having it totaly stuck on there!

For the life of me, I don't understand why this is not included in the tool kit that Cricut puts out. The thin metal makes it so easy to slide any cut off of your mat. This is also not limited to Cricut users--- use it with any cutting mat for an wonderfully easy lift!!
At my last crop, a friend taught me how to use a Cricut machine. Then she showed me her Cricut tools. Well, I do own a Cricut machine, but needed the tools. They were on sale! Now I am ready to use my Cricut!!
So glad I bought this to with my cricut... I had never used a cricut so wasn't sure about the spatula and it is so neccessary to getting the cut paper off the sticky mat...
It took a while to get this tool but is was well worth the waiting. I will be able to remove items much easier now when using my cricut.
If you have a Cricut, you have to have this tool. It is awesome and worth every penny! I use it with every thing I cut on my Cricut.

How did I ever manage without a spatula? This tool has helped get paper off a overly sticky mat without a trace of residue! Wonderful!
I not only use this with my cricut, but if I need to lift pieces from a LO to change my design it comes in handy!

I use this tool to lift almost all my items from the Cricut Mat. Don't know what I would do with out it!

This tool is fantastic. It easily slides under the paper after you have used your cricut to lift your design off the sticky mat. Why this isn't included in the tool set is beyond me. This tool is not just for the cricut - you could use it with any die cut machine. I finally have found the tool that keeps me from ripping my designs as I pull them off the mat.
This is simply a must have for anyone who uses the cricut machines!!! It makes removing all your die cuts simply come off the most sicky mat like butter without ripping or ruining your hard work and precious time. Cricut should really think of placing this in their tool kit it certainly is something every cricut owner should have on hand!!
It's amazing how such a little piece of plastic and metal can be so ridiculously useful. This little bugger is great for the use in which it was intended--to peel off those hard-to-remove pieces from your Cricut cutting mat. It does the job, and I believe it was a necessary purchase when I bought my Cricut.
You will really get a lot of use out of this spatula, especially when you are using a new cutting mat with thin paper. This spatula makes it easy to remove the paper from the mat. It's not useful with cardstock so much, nor is it needed when the mat is older and less sticky.
I have no idea what i would do without this tool, i use it every single time i cut with my cricut. Its a complete wonder how anyone can get their cuts off that horrendously sticky mat without this wonder tool! A complete must!
I have long nails and it is super hard to get my cuts off of the mat. I recently purchased the spatula and it is my best friend. I can get everything off my mat with easy. Love it
I love the spatula...I can use it for more than just the cricut. I love this more than the other tool kit. It's flexible and scrapes your cut out right off the cricut mat!
I love my Cricut without this handy little tool, peeling things off the sticky mat would be much harder. This is a must have if you have a Cricut machine!
This is an essential item if you cut with a Cricut. It makes getting the paper off of the mats super easy. It helps to not curl or tear intricate cuts.
Can't have a cricut w/o having a tool that can finish the job. Have to have to get things off, especially with a new mat.
Since i received this item, i am happier! very easy to manipulate, and removes small pieces with easyness.
