So I have a Cricut baby bug already and love to use that for diecuts. I kept reading rave reviews about the Cuttlebug and wondered if I needed it... the answer is YES!!! I use my Cuttebug for embossing - cardstock and envelopes for cards, even diecut letters. The possibilities are endless! You get everything you need when your order a Cuttlebug. Just add a few of the embossing folders (Swiss Dots and Dvine Swirls are my two favorites, but I'd love to own them all!) and you're ready to go. Very easy to use and comes with a user's manual that shows even shows you how to use dies and folders from other brands like Sizzix! Definitely a must have whether you're a scrapbooker or a cardmaker!

I originally wanted a Revolution but found a great deal on a Cuttlebug and after a little research I purchased the Cuttlebug. I can use any die I've come across in this little machine. The plates take on a lot of use and I've not had to replace them yet. It is very portable, the handle is nice to have on top. The "suction" feet make it grip your surface and assist in the cutting process.
When I came across a great deal on a Revolution about a year later, I finally got my long desired sleek black tool with its pretty carry case. Wow! I was so excited. Guess what...I use it for 4x8 dies but do everything else on my Cuttlebug.
Just can't get enough of that little green machine.

I've had my Cuttlebug for about 1 1/2 years and I still love it. It's easy to use and the variety of embossing folders and diecuts is great. I use mine for both scrapbook pages and cards and I love the versatility. It adds so much and only takes a minute. I especially love my alpha diecuts because I can always cut whatever letters I need and never run out! Both of my granddaughters' names have "y" and "a" in it and when I buy sheets of alphas, I often run out of those letters--but never when I use my Cuttlebug. The cuttlebug is WAY cheaper than an electronic diecutter and it can use diecuts from most other diecut machines. It's a great investment for any papercrafter!

I have had the Cricut for about a year. I like it because I don't have to buy/store lots of dies. But when I tried dry embossing on some of my Christmas cards this year, I gave up quickly because it was just too labor intensive. But I love the way the dry embossing looks. So I checked around and decided to get the Cuttlebug. I LOVE IT! I still don't plan on using it for cutting dies too much, but the embossing folders are wonderful! The images are so crisp and perfect, and it's SO easy to use. Not to mention, quiet and I don't have to worry about taking up another outlet. I recommend it to anyone who wants to do any dry embossing.

I just got this machine a few weeks ago, and I have been loving it so far! I wouldn't call myself an expert at papercrafting, but the Cuttlebug definitely helps me feel like one! :) It's great for adding dimension to any project. And the fact that I not longer have to cut out my own dies by hand is awesome! It's great that you can use other brands of dies with it too. I haven't tried any Sizzix ones yet, but that will be my next adventure! If you're looking for a great way to emboss and cut dies, but don't have a lot of money, this machine will be great for you! It was even better cause I got it with a 40% off coupon at Michaels ;)

I LOVE the Cuttlebug. It's very affordable & can easily cut all the dies on the market from the thinnest Nestabilities to the largest Ellision dies with ease. I've had mine since it hit the market & use it all the time. The only replacement mat I've purchased is the B mat. The first one is bowed a bit but I still use it for running the dies thru -- I use the newer one for the embossing folders.
The embossing folders are my favorite product to run thru. They add texture & that WOW factor to any card/layout.
I've used the Sizzix & Revolution but I think you get way more bang for your buck with the Cuttlebug

I just purchased the cuttlebug mainly for embossing. I bought 3 embossing plates and I love them! It's so easy to use and gives great results. The best part is I can use my sizzix embossing plates in it as well! It gives just enough texture to the paper to make it stand out. This machine doubles as a die-cutter too. I own the cricut so I won't use this as much, but it's nice that I have the option to cut one little accent instead of buying a whole cricut cartridge. This guy is cute, lightweight, kid friendly, and easy to use. I defiently reccomend it to EVERYONE!

This is the first "machine" that I have purchased and feel that it is a great starter machine for the new scrapper. It is easy to use, offers a myriad of cut outs and embossers, and is affordable. The set-up was a snap and it's so portable it can be easily taken anywhere! Whereas it only makes smaller cutouts and pieces of embossing, I see myself saving for a Cricut, too. BUT, this will always be useful and is a great way to get started making your own shapes, etc.
I was so excited when they came out with the cuttlebug. The cost is very reasonable even for scrappers with a lower budget like me. It is extremely versatile with other brands of dies. The cuts come out clean and no having to tear the paper to get it to come off the die. I love that I can emboss with it as well and they have so many folders to chose from. I love that it is light weight and easy to store. If I want to take it with me I just pick it up and go.

I agree with the others that recommend this product. It is a reasonably price die cut machine and I like that it takes other company's dies so you have more flexibility. This was my first die cutter and I still use it to cut small letters or special embellishments. All the different plates that you need to use with it is a little cumbersome and I haven't found that it suctions to the table as well as advertised, but still a good product for small embellies.

I just got the Cuttlebug today, and wow do i love it, works like a charm, it embosses beautifully, as well as does clean cuts of when you cut the papers out with the regular dies thru the machine, i even used a piece of thin felt and the shape turned out just PERFECT!! Now i can't wait to to try a piece of thin fun foam thru it and make my own thickers embellishments!!, i would highly recommend this machine to anyone thinking of purchasing the cuttlebug!!

I love my cuttlebug! At first i was a little hesitant to purchase it, cause I didn't know how much it would get used since I have a cricut. I have to say that I am so glad that I went ahead and got one. The embossing is great, and most dies are affordable. The alphas are a little pricey, but no more so than what I pay for a cricut cartridge. I also love that I can use any die in this machine. One of the best investments that I have made.

This is such a great little machine. I mainly use mine for dry embossing, since I have a Cricut for my die cutting needs. I love how versatile it is when it comes to using different brand embossing folders. I try to use it in just about every layout, card, tag, ATC, etc that I make. It has an awesome compact design that doesn't take up much space at all when not in use. I would definitely reommend this product.

I just love this little green die cutter. It's great for all the projects you'll try to tackle. The embossing folders are so great...minimum effort with maximum results! Plus it's manual ( for all those times you want to scrap during power outages ) and safe for kids to use. Great little machine all around...i'd definitly recommend it to anyone. Thank you provo craft!

I absolutely love my Cuttlebug! I got it for Christmas two years ago and I use it on every layout I do. I really love the fact that it both emosses and makes die cuts. It's perfect for doing cards which I am trying to do more of. It is also easy to store and take to crops because of its small size I would recommend this product to anyone!!!
Used in this layout: ...My Quiet Time
I use my cuttlebug on nearly every layout! I bought it because I couldn't put a few hundred dollars into a Cricut. No, it cannot do as much as a Cricut, but I sure do love this little guy. I use the cuttlekids alpha dies because they are so much cheaper. The main reason I bought the cuttlebug was because I could use other brands of dies.

I have tried out a lot of die cutters. This is the one I own. It takes all dies. It is amazing at embossing. I love how it fold up and takes little space to store. There is great customer service with this product. I also feel that the Cuttlerbug has a great price. When I am asked what machine to buy...I always say Cuttlerbug.

I love the look of dry embossing, but have never been a fan of doing it by hand. I LOVE my Cuttlebug! I got it for the embossing, but I love being able to do die cutting as well. I also like that you can use other brands of dies. My projects are so much more fun to do now and look better too since using my Cuttlebug.

I have had the SILhouette for over a year now and finally got up the nerve to ask dh if I could splurge on a cuttlebug. It was SO worth it! Dh is so impressed with the embossing too, so he's even for it! I love all the embossing capabilities, but also love how compatible it is with other dies.

I don't know that I would do with out this Machine in the Scrap booking world!! This machine not only die cuts but also embosses! Its amazing!! You have to get one!
Another positive is that you only have to change your cutting mats about every 500 die cuts and the mats are inexpensive!!
Used in this image: Family
It doesn't take up much space! It's a lot easier on my budget then the electronic machines and their cartridges. The embossing folders and dies are pretty inexpensive. Loved using it to make my Christmas cards, tags and thank you notes. Oh, and did I say it doesn't take up much space?!

I have other die cut machines, but this is my favorite. My favorite part is that you can use ANY company's die in this machine! Quickutz, sizzix, elison! I love looking for clearanced dies to pick up and use on my bug. It's super easy to use, my kids love to make dies for me!
Used in this layout: Preschool Program
I don't use this for cutting but LOVE how it dry embosses. It is so easy and looks like it took hours to make. The sleeves are simple and it comes out looking crisp. The wonderful part is that you can emboss on any color (light box method is for light cardstock only).
Used in this card: Extreme Birthday
I absoluty love my cuttlebug, the embossing is fantastic and it is a good machine for the money. You can use Sizzix, Spellbinder, Quickutz and even Fiskars embossing plates in it. Even if you own an eletronic die cutter it is worth it for the embossing alone
Used in this card: Happy Birthday
Love my cuttlebug! cant beat it for the price! cuts & embosses! works with all size dies and uses all embossing folders! lightweight and portable ......and what a fun color! lol .....a must have for scrappers and card makers!

Since I own the wishblade I didn't see the need for another cutter but this is not just another cutter. The embossing folders and capabilities are awesome! It is easy to use and my 5 year old even loves using it!

The Cuttlebug is one of those tools you will use over and over! I love that you can use the spellbinders products with it, too!

I love this machine for embossing, even though I don't really use it as much as I would like. I don't like it because you are limited on the sizes you can emboss, but I would recommend it because it's great for adding little touches here and there to cards, layouts and other projects! I really love cutting things out with my expression, then running the items thru the cuttlebug to make it stand out more on the page. I don't recommend this machine as a cutting machine. I tried cutting one thing and it ended up ruining one of my plastic board thingies! Plus with the cricut you can cut any size you want and you are not limited to the size of the diecut. I would recommend this tool as a embosser 100%!!

I've had my Cuttlebug for about a month. I played with the sample die-cuts that came with it, but I didn't make anything until this week. I was able to adorn my Easter packages by using the embosser and die-cut features. The only disadvantage is the limited designs, but I recently found out that I can use die-cuts from other makers. I look forward to using it for scrapbooking, crafts, and school projects.

The cuttlebug was one of my first scrapbooking purchases. It is great for die cutting and embossing. I use mine more for embossing then cutting. The only think I would change about the cuttlebug would be the embossing folder sizes. It would be nice if there was more space to emboss with. Over all this is an awesome product and I would highly recommend it for it's compact size and it's many abilities.

Finally, a machine that takes the labor intensity out of dry embossing! If you love the look of dry embossed details but hated dragging out your light box and going through the process of using a stylus to emboss each little detail of your stencil - the Cuttlebug is just the machine you need. It does a beautiful job whether you use the embossing materials made specifically for it or whether you use Sizzix, Fiskars texture plates or metal dies. A big plus is the fact that you can emboss on dark paper/cardstock with no problem, which was very difficult to do with a light box as you could not always see your stencil through the dark color. I held off a long time buying a "machine" as I thought it would be something I never used after I got it. Not so - this is an absolute must have - and it does die cuts, too!
I LOVE THIS LITTLE MACHINE! Even my grandkids can use it! (I need to get the little Cuttlebug Jr so that I can have mine back!) LOL
This machine comes in so handy when making cards. I've used it so many times and with so many different embossing cards, you can do just about anything! I have the hand embossing sheets that you have to rub and this is just so much easier! The die cuts are cool too! Great for the smaller cuts when I don't want to drag out the Cricut!
My girlfriend just came over last night to scrap and I talked her into buying one too! She was very impressed.
GO GET IT! YOU'LL LOVE IT TOO! (HINT: I bought mine using a 50% coupon from JoAnns)
This little machine is packed with ability. It cuts paper, card stock, cardboard, thin metal, etc. It does a wonderful job on dry embossing with lots of folders to choose from. One of my favorite things is cutting my own chipboard letters and shapes. With my job a have an endless supply of thin cardboard ( about the thickness they use for shoe boxes). I use the cuttlebug to cut my own chipboard letters and shapes. It does a great job with nice clean cuts. By doing this it saves me a lot of money that I can spend on other scrap booking supplies. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is serious about scrap booking or card making.
I loved the cuttlebug machine and I still cant get enough of it. I recently bought a Slice machine and I still love the ease of use of the cuttlebug. They work great together but for the price I would tell EVERYONE to purchase the cuttlebug. It is so simple to use and you get consistent quality everytime. I dont have a single complaint about this machine. You just put in your die or embossing folder crank it through the machine and presto beautiful product everytime!!
I waited for about two-years to buy a Cuttlebug and I ONLY wish I now had bought it a lot sooner. It's a fabulous little tool and perfect for card-making.
I love embossing my card-stock and I also LOVE using Bestabilitties to cut circles/ovals and shapes for layering on my cards.
This is a GREAT tool! I've since bought several Embossing folders and Nestabilites and thinks it's one of my most FAVORITE tools. I don't know what I did without it for so long!!
This is probably one of my most favorite tools because of the simplicity of use and the awesome results from dry embossing with it. Just finished making a white on white greeting card, where I used several different embossing folders on differnt layers. The finished card is awesome. The same embossing can be used for so many different things. This is a great product and the fact that it can be used with Sissix and Shapeablilities is just icing on the cake.
I love the Cuttlebug! The embossing templates for this machine are great and produce wonderful backgrounds for cards or pages! I was able to get rid of my Sizzix and Quickutz when I purchased this machine. You can even run the brass embossing stencils through it! I love all the different embossing templates and dies available for this machine. The Cuttlebug is easily transported to and from crops and even has a built-handle for an easy carry.
I am always looking for new scrapbook products/machines because I love using and buy new products. There is one catch though...it has to be within my budget and very user friendly. The cuttlebug is both...and it is awesome. It is great for embossing and very versitile. It can use it's own embossing folders and others...with a little help. It is so easy to use and small enough to store anywhere. It is absolutely worth the money.
I've had my Cuttlebug for a little over a month and don't know what I did without it. I did a LOT of research since I already owned the Quickutz Pink Squeeze but wanted to be able to have a wider selection and also use larger dies. I can use ALL of them in my Cuttlebug. This is the most versatile of the die cutters. So far, I've used my Quickutz dies, embossing folders, Sizzix and Cuttlebug and Cuttlekids!
A+ 3 *** for this product
I love how small this die machine it. It takes up much less space in your scrappy area than many of its competitors. It will take most of it's competitors dies. The dies are nice and thin, thus taking much less space!
The embossing folders that are part of this system are amazing. Incredible designs and incredibly simple. I reccomend using a heavier weight paper when embossing, as the embossing is fairly deep.
I already own a Cricut Expressions but I use the Cuttlebug for embossing cards and tags!!! I also use it for quick die cuts. Rather than turn the Cricut on, I simply take 5 seconds to crank my Cuttlebug and Viola!!! It is a great little companion for my Cricut. It is a lightweight cordless machine. It accepts most dies -even from the competitiors!!! You will not be disappointed!!!
I purchased this as a new scrapper. I'm so glad I did. It is compatible with dies from other companies, which I love. And the dies are very affordable. I own 4 alphabets and use them quite often. The cuts are clean. It is easy enough for a new scrapper to figure out, which was important to me. I plan to start using it for embossing soon! Definitely a good investment.
Now if you have a cricut expression. The next perfect little item is the get the cuttle bug for your embossing paper. Especially if you love doing cards. But emboss your scrapbook items. I will use mine to emboss christmas ornaments. Its easy to use i just wish it was a tad bit larger. At least the size of a normal sheet of paper. Other than that its great!!!!!
I love, love loveeee my Cuttlebug! I wish I would had known about it before I invested in a Sizzix. I prefer the Cuttlebug as it can cut different sized dies such as thin cuts, bigz and regular Sizzix. It does a wonderful job embossing too! I love that it suctions to the countertop/table...plus it travels easily-has that cool handle. Would highly recommend!!!
I got my Cuttlebug as a gift from my in-laws and I really like it. It's so easy to use. I love how it is safe enough for my kids to use it. My 7 year old son loves to make die cuts for all his projects for school. And the variety of dies is great. They are easily found in all my local craft stores and online. Great little machine.
I just got my Cuttlebug. I love it! I got it to emboss and to make felt and fabric flowers. It cuts like a dream. I love it so much I purchased some other shapes. I made felt butterflies and birthday shapes. So cool! A must have if you want to emboss or cut fabric and felt.
I have the cuttlebug and my daughter has her own children's version. We love it. Simple, easy to use. No electricity needed. I can easily bring it to a crop and it works great. got it on sale, with a coupon at J's and ended up paying about 43 dollars for it. Great tool.
I use this little machine even more than i use my cricut. this does the cutting of all shapes, letters, frames, and it also embosses those wonderful images. i use it in scrapbooking and on my cards. this has to be the best tool i have bought so far!!
This is the best machine in my opinion.....It will cut most all other manufacturer dies and then there is the embossing aspect too....You cannot go wrong with this machine...
The Cuttlebug is the die cutter to get! It can cut all types of dies - no need to have 3 different machines. It is simple to use. When folded takes up little storage space. I love to cut fun foam to make my own Thickers. Excellent for those who like to emboss too! There are many good emobssing folders out. My only complaint is that the alphabet dies for the Cuttlebug are small. Good thing we can use Sizzix dies with the Cuttlebug.
Thumbs up to for the cuttlebug. It is manual, so no plugs to mess with. Easily portable, easy to use. I like the embossing feature the best. In addition to the cuttlebug die cuts, it will also work with die cut patterns from other brands. Quick easy designs for your page!
