This case is magnificent. I used to just place my Spellbinders and other dies in a box, because they would fall all over the place. Then I could not see what dies I had, and I would reorder the die set. This case is so easy to use, and my dies are right there. Another thing I did not like about just leaving my dies in the original package, was that when I went to get out a die, the sticky tape was so sticky, that it was hard not to bend a die. This magnetic board is easy to get them without bending them.
This is perfect for my Spellbinder dies. It makes it so handy and I love being able to see all my dies at once. I used to keep my dies in their original packaging and it was just a mess as they kept falling out. I was so afraid they would get bent but with this case they lay perfectly flat. Awesome piece of storage!
These are nice sturdy cases for holding metallic dies from a variety of companies. I was using cd and dvd cases to hold individual sets. I have saved at least half the space previously used by organizing my dies by company and on the magnetic sheets by shape or type of die. I highly recommend this system.
While I made a nice magnetic frame that holds my regularly used dies, this one will hold all my seasonal and odd ones that don't get used on a weekly basis. It fits nicely on the bookshelf under my die machine.Very convenient organization.
So far, so good! I love this organization tool! I will let you know more as I actually use the dies! They look great, are organized but the biggest key is does it REALLY work! ciao
I've been saved! This is perfect for organizing my Spellbinders, Nestabilities and other metal Dies. (I tried to make one myself but this is really sturdy and compact.)
This is a great product. All of the dies are organized and readily accessible. I would recommend this to everyone with a drawer full of metal dies.
This storage system is genius! I love it. It is so easy to store my Spellbinders and Lifestyle Crafts nesting dies. I've tried a few different storage systems and none of them have been as easy as this one. One case holds a few packages of the magnetic sheets. I've used the pages that came with the case plus one extra and think I'll order one more package of the sheets....
I just got this and so haven't used it much. Love the way it keeps all the little metal dies together, organized. Would like to see some kind of "tab" that would make it easier to lift the individual sheets up out of the container.
I finally have something great to store my dies in. It would be wonderful if this was larger so that I could store my grand nestability dies in, however, it is big enough to store all the others. I highly recommend this.
Can't wait to get my alpha sets filed in here too--will be ordering more sheets. For the space and the magnetic convenience, definitely the ideal storage system for my spellbinders dies.
This seemed like a great way to organize dies; however, the magnetic sheets are not strong enough to hold the dies. I had ordered other magnetic sheets from amazon, and they were the same way. Stampin' Up used to sell heavier magnetic sheets that were perfect for storing dies, but they no longer sell them. That's what this product needs. I wouldn't recommend it, it's truly a disappointment.
This product idea is good, that is about as good as it gets! the case is too small to be effective...because of the shape of the handle you cannot get very many die on a sheet...would have been better if magnetic on both sides....good idea just not cost effective and then I cannot even return the product since it has been opened!!! Not good!!!
I was excited to get this product because I have dies of varying sizes. Some of the Lifestyle Crafts dies are much too large to fit into a CD case, as was my normal storage method. So far this has been working for me. The only thing I dislike is that my border dies have a tendency to pop off because the magnetic sheets don't lie flat. Overall, however, I think it's a great product and one that was greatly needed in the crafting world.
This is a great idea but when put into practice not so good. Shape of magnetic sheet means you can't get some dies on the sheet. Main thing though is if the die you want is in the middle or bottom you have to take out all the other sheets first to get to it and even then some fall off. Might be better to make it a folder with clips and holes in the sheets so you can turn them over.
