Bio:
Hi! My name is Lori and I've been scrapping for about a year now. I'm a mom to 3 young men, Jai, Wes, and Dale...mom-in-law to Amber, Dales wife...mammaw to Madison, born Sept. 14, 2005, Jai's daughter, and to Dale and Amber's son, Slayd, who was born Nov. 26, 2007...wife to Paul, who is my best friend and my sb enabler, since 1998.
I was born and raised a country girl, but Paul has me "imprisoned" in the city. I love babies, puppies and kittens, autumn, drawing, painting, refinishing old pieces of furniture, making candles, playing backyard football with my boys, shooting (target practice...I don't hunt), camping, hiking, anything to do with the outdoors and, of course, scrappin'!
I'm into football, a huge Steelers fan. My dream is to someday live in the wilderness in Alaska, but Paul doesn't like the cold, so...I don't see that one happening.
We live in this nothing-to-do town in central Ohio, about 30 minutes east of Columbus.
I'm an army vet, following in my father's and brothers' footsteps, and a proud army mom!
I'm stubborn, opinionated, sometimes outspoken.
I'm 46 years old, going on 27. It's not that I refuse to grow up, I just refuse to grow old. It helps that my boys and all their friends treat me like I'm "one of them".
Did I leave anything out? If there's anything else you want to know, just ask! I got over my shyness a long time ago (and honestly, I used to be PAINFULLY shy)!
It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protestor to burn the flag.
