I'm married and I have two grown daughters still at home. One works part time and the other is in graduate school. We have two dogs, a darling yappy yorkie and a beautiful crazy vizsla.
My sister, Scrapkaty, got me into scrapbooking in 2003. I just love this hobby. She and I get together as often as we can. Usually she comes here because I am lucky to live within 45 minutes of at least 8 scrapbooking or craft stores. This is tres difficult on my pocketbook but who cares. I love my stash...in fact I hate to use it. I think I am not alone in that quirk. My family is pretty blase about this scrapbooking thing..I show them a layout and they say..oh yeah nice...BUT I often see them showing their albums off to their friends or just looking through them and that is the best compliment. My dh thinks I should figure out a way to make money at this and wouldn't that be fun, earning a living from your hobby? But for now scrapping is my stress reliever and being a member here at SB is a great way to meet new people and to share the love of this great hobby.
