Bio: I am 37 years old and on my almost fourth year deployed to the Middle East with the US Army Corps of Engineers as a civilian employee. Scrapbooking was something that hit me by accident. I only attempted it one night as a way to take my mind of work. I was astounded at the stress relieving affect it had on me. I now scrap regularly to make going away gifts for my military coworkers as well as our British security team.

Off and on over the past four years, I have provided a short story or "blog" to a website in the attempt to unload stresses of this job and environment.

As a Federal employee I never did so during work hours or on goverment equipment. This unpredictable environment has caused us to no longer have access to certain websites and my email is overloaded with concern asking if I am ok and where I went. Since I am unable to access that other site, I told my friends to read my stories/blogs on this site. Hope you enjoy them.
