Bio:
Hi, I'm Jill Davis the Founder of Scrapbook.com. Welcome to My Place at Scrapbook.com.
If you are experiencing technical difficulties please contact my favorite Forum Tech, Megan.
Or, if you need help with an order please contact our helpful and friendly Customer Service Department.
Scrapbook.com moved from a dream to reality in 1999. I was a scrapbooking instructor and longed for a place on the Web to share my class samples so students could continue to learn more about preserving their memories. My husband worked with me to plan for the site and when we acquired the domain name (nothing short of a miracle) he was able to take a few months off from his profession to get it up and running.
As Scrapbook.com experienced immense growth we realized it would take many hands to run a large and successful website. So, with no outside funding and my scrapbooking passion I took on the challenge with the support of my husband and the family.
Each of our four grown children is now involved with Scrapbook.com, Scrapbooks.com, ComputerScrapbook.com or ScrapJazz.com in some way. It is an honor and joy to work beside them in their leadership roles. It's a privilege to work with our talented staff who are also leaders and love Scrapbook.com as much as we do. It's a pleasure to associate with the good Members of the Scrapbook.com Community who also value connections past, present and future.
Scrapbooking is all about capturing LIFE and being able to enjoy and share precious memories of events and people over and over again. Scrapbooks are gifts that keep giving.
Our goals at Scrapbook.com are to provide you with the products, ideas and the education you'll need to get your photos from boxes into beautiful scrapbooks.
I believe scrapbooks contain the energy found only in handmade and handcrafted treasures; the DNA of love. In our fast-paced, quick-fix, gotta-have-it-now world, scrapbooks can recharge us when our energy runs low and we need to reconnect with the important people, places and things of our lives.
I invite you to join the Scrapbook.com family with your own "home on the Web" by setting up a "My Place." Once you do, please add me as one of your "Friends" and make my blog one of your favorites. You'll get email notifications whenever I share projects, ideas or products that are of special interest.
If you are new to scrapbooking I'm excited to share some fun resources just for you. In 2009 we published a series of e-books for beginners called the New To Scrapbooking Quick Guides. They contain basic scrapbooking information and show how layout foundations are formed - which makes it easy to scrapbook.
