Interests: traditional scrapping, piano, singing, playing with new dachsund puppy, anything my 13 y.o. son is doing!

Work: Just started my own private scrapbooking company , "The Memory Keepers!" Also a Memory-Works Consultant!

Bio: I am a 44 year-young mother of a terrific teenage son, Joshua, wife of 16 years to Lew, and a crazily obssessed, addicted, totally hooked and proud of it SCRAPBOOK ARTISTE!!! I am a patterned paper fanatic, a lover of ribbon, paint, anything distressed...and especially a lover of anything or anyone who will help me learn more about art, style, and design. I'm also a big fan of anyone or anything that helps me grow as a person in general and get better at anything I love to do OR don't even know yet that I want to do! I spent 43 years believing that I didn't have an artistic bone in my body. I am an accomplished pianist and singer, but I wanted to PAINT, DRAW, or just make anything with my hands, but didn't have the confidence, skill, nor the support of people in my life to do those things.
Today, I scrap every single day. It is cheaper than psychotherapy and a whole lot more fun. I LOVE getting MESSY when I scrap! I started using lots of paint, stickles, crackle paint, Glimmer Mist, embossing powder, a little glitter, and always at least a hint of BLING! I learned to sew because I thought it looked cool on other people's layouts, and now it loks cool on mine!
I love to be surrounded by friends, and have lots of new friends since I became a scrap-booker. Even just being on this website excites me, because I get to have daily exchanges with others who share my passion (s).
I love the one and only God who created this glorious universe in which we live, and love to worship Him freely in prayer, song, dance, or whatever seems appropriate at the time.
I don't believe in telling others how to live their lives, because people have been telling me how to live mine since I was born, and some still won't quit!
I love shopping for art supplies, and LOVE my scrap room more than any other room in the house. It is full of happy things that people have given me, I have made, others have made for me, or things I plan to make one day! I save every card I receive because there is not one nicer thing you can do for a person than sit down and write them a little note to make their day a little brighter.
I am looking forward to reading your Blogs, searching through your Galleries, and making a few good friends.
