Welcome to My Place! Please, grab a nice cup of tea or coffee, sit down, make yourself comfortable and have a look around. I'm so glad you're here. While you're here, I hope you find a little humor, a little truth and a little inspiration and I hope we might get to know one another better.

During the school year, I teach at a Christian preschool and I love what I do. During the summers, I spend time with my family and catch up on my scrapping. I have been married almost 17 yrs. to the love of my life, Keith, who is a Police Officer and a school liasion officer. He is not perfect, but he is perfect for me. We have two beautiful daughters, Caitlyn (16), who is a very active & grounded (in the good sense) teenager, & Claire (12), who is our peacemaker. We also got a surprise blessing 7 years ago that goes by the name of Garrett. He is the family show-off and clown and I could just squeeze the stuffin's out of him every single day. : )

I'm proud to admit I am a Scrapbooking Addict. My children think my camera is surgically attached to my hands and they think seeing spots is normal!

I have been scrapping since before scrapping was "cool." I started in high school and continued through college, scrapping my fun and sometimes outrageous sorority adventures. That was when I really started scrapping with any artistic flair. That would have been about 20 years ago. Wow, it sounds much worse to say that out loud. I go through spurts where I scrap non-stop for months and then I take a break for several months or sometimes even a year depending on how busy life is. But it is always a passion that it is in my mind and something I return to.

I love this site and all the inspiration I have gotten here. I have also made some great friends and in May 2008 had the opportunity to meet 11 of them in person for a weekend of scrapping and fun in southern Michigan. It was a total blast and everyone was as great in person as they are here!

The Lord bless and keep you
May His face shine upon you
And be gracious and give you peace.
