MORE INFORMATION:
I started scrapbooking 4 years ago as a way to record my son's first year of life. The more I scrapped, the more passionate I became about this wonderful hobby. For me, scrapbooking not only allows me to record and preserve my family's history, it is a much needed creative outlet and a way to demonstrate the love I have for my family.
I've began looking into how I can make scrapbooking play a more substantial role in my life. My primary goals are to continue scrapping with quality products to create inspirational pieces I can be proud of and to submit more layouts for publication consideration. I recently fulfilled one on my ultimate scrap goals and became a scrapbook teacher at my local scrapbook store.
My style can be describe as a hodge podge of different styles. I love to create linear designs with a twist, layer everything from photos to embellishments, convey movement and focus on the photos and I always try to challenge myself to work outside of the box. I love to express myself through my journaling so the reader feels the depth of my story and I use embellishments to further convey that story. My strongest talent is to create layouts using multiple photos or one enlarged photo.
