Scrapbooker     Card Maker        Paper Crafter          Instructor           Writer

Goals/Objectives

I would love to:
  • Work on a design team either for a manufacturer, kit club or store;
  • Teach classes and workshops;
  • See my pages, cards and projects published in print and online;
  • Write for related publications.

Published
  • Upcoming - Creating Keepsakes, In Your Words, September 2008.
  • Upcoming - All You, Featured Reality Checker, November 2008.
  • Creating Keepsakes, In Your Words, February 2008, p. 51.
  • All You, Featured Reality Checker, September 2007.

Paper Crafting Style
  • My work is primarily comprised of clean and classic designs.  I often incorporate romantic or whimsical aspects into my work and I strive to use a variety of colorsMy pages vary from the simple with minimal embellishments to complex incorporating different techniques and trends. However, my focus is always on the photos and the story.
  • Aside from some journaling and occasional titles, I do not do digital work.  While I appreciate the look of a digital page, I do not consider it paper crafting.  My basic thought is: If there is no danger of gluing my fingers together, it's not scrapping!

Philosophy

I believe that every project from pages to home decor should be about the story you want to tell or the message you want send.  I also believe that continually challenging myself to try new techniques and explore new trends will help me to grow as a designer.
