      The lights are battery powered and it takes 2 AAA batteries. The length of time they last will depend on how much you have it turned on, but they last for a while.     Hi there, I'd like to print a poster to place inside the frame. Could you tell me the exact measurements of the opening on the inside of the frame? Also, is there a way to attach a photo or poster to the frame, or would I just need to tape/glue it?

      I'm not really sure if you can paint the frame. It was a gift for my daughter and she has it hanging on her wall.       Yes it fits around light box....super cute example on Heidi Swapp's Instagram. Look at her IG from about 1-2weeks ago. She had decorated for daughters 15th bday. So cute!!
