This double sided tape from American Crafts is permanent and archival safe. It easily tears from the roll, making it simple to use with ribbon, embellishments and paper. Each package includes one 11 yard roll of 1/2" double sided tape.
It’s pretty good. I don’t use it for albums or heavy chip board projects; it doesn’t stay stuck as well as the Score tape brand but the price point is good.
I have never used tear tap before, so thought I should try it. Unfortunately, the projects i am working on at this time needed precise scissor cuts but It did work fine.
This tear tape works great, there is no need to stop for a scissors to cut the tape and it is very easy to rear.

I was working on a large project with a deadline while recovering from the flu; I needed no-hassle supplies that performed well and this tape did everything I asked it to do. The 1/2" size is very versatile. It can be easily torn, so no picking up and putting down scissors every five seconds. Peeling the backing off double-stick adhesive is never fun, but this one didn't make me want to scream or cry, even when I was still working at 2:00 AM. It has a nice strong adhesive that structurally strong. I will be purchasing this one again.
I used to buy this adhesive at AC Moore and was upset when they closed and I couldn't find it at other craft stores. I'm so glad I checked here! I prefer this adhesive compared to others I tried for making my cards.

I love that this double-sided tape is so sticky AND that you can easily tear it. No need for scissors!
Love the width of this to create borders in my junk journal using napkins.
