I previously purchased this album at my local Michael's, however once I got it home I realized that it had a huge tear across almost the entire top of the front cover, and promptly returned it. Since they had no more in stock, I decided to order it from scrapbook.com and just pay the shipping. Boy am I glad! What I didn't realize is that for some reason, this album comes with a paper-type cover, OR a fabric cover. The damaged one I got from Michael's was paper-this one from scrapbook.com is fabric. SO much better! Looks a lot nicer, I suspect it'll last a lot longer too. And I love this design. The words are great-I love that they don't particularly go with any theme, so I can use it as a general scrapbook as I get started, and then separate my pages off later into more categorized albums as this one grows too big. Love it! Even the rings are better in this album (as opposed to the one I got at Michael's), easier to open and close, which is important for me. Only downside I see is that the binding creaks a bit when opening/closing, which made me nervous about how well it would hold up with consistent use, but this seems to have diminished a bit already and it's only been like a week. Definitely recommended!
I originally bought this because of the sale price and planned to use it just for storing my photos, BUT, it was so nice that I am using it for my actual scrapbooking/journaling prifects.
