Is this an actual 2"x2" squared punch or is it yet another one that is measured diagonally and the squares are smaller than 2"?

This square measures about 1/8th under 2x2. Diagonally measures 2 1/2". Hope this helps.

I punched out a square & measured it on my self healing mat, and it was exactly a 2" square; 2.5 on the diagonal
