    Excellent Ink Pad Organizer!

I love that this organizer allowed me to free up drawer space as it sits atop my desk! For reference, my desktop measures 60.5" x 29" but I think it'd still fit comfortably on a smaller desktop size. It maybe a bit cramped on anything 36" or smaller.

Either way I believe every crafter should find a place for it as its so useful! I absolutely love having my ink colors in front of me as opposed to stuck in a drawer! I put Memento inks, Versamark (+Versafine), & Stayzon inks to fill up this one- all sitting so I can see the short side of the pads. Tho you can still see the colored tops a bit, I use sticker paper to stamp colors on the sides of each pad to help with identifying each color. I am planning to get one more for my distress inks as I did buy the add one for shorter pads and they work great with the distress inks.

The top is also awesome as I can fit more supplies!! I put some reinkers and spray inks on top. I highly recommend this organizer for every crafter!!!

    Love it!

I have some ink pad storage but had all my distress ink pads in a drawer...and I love my distress inks so I had to remedy the drawer situation. I researched quite a few different storage ideas but I needed storage for the ink pads and reinkers so it came down to economy of space for me. This thing is the best bang for the buck!
It is quite large...it was hard for me to get perspective on the size, and once it is put together it is heavy so it won't be my go to for traveling. But I have mini inks for that!
What I can say...it is awesome for my needs! Just remember if you are going to store smaller inks pads, buy two sets of inserts...I didn't realize you needed two sets. Put the whole thing together anyway, ordered the second set which arrived today and put them in place.

    Easy to assemble spinning organizer

I was happily surprised at how quickly the box arrived. Though it came with instructions on how to put it together, I never used it. I am happy that "Close to my Heart" stamp pads fit in there easily and I still have room to secure the pad as I take from my house to a crop without having to worry about losing anything. The organizer rotates easily, just have small kids stay away from the very bottom, as the spinner has very pointy corners. It is nice to have the strap at the top to carry it from one place to another. The space on top is also perfect for my Sickles bottles as well. I know I will get a lot of use from this organizer and I love that I can easily see what I am looking for without having to dig in a box or drawer.

    Organized ink!

I bought this because it was cheaper than buying the two 24-units individually- I don't use the swivel, I just have them sitting side by side on my desk. However, the swivel is really sturdy/quality should you want to use it. I don't know how much I would "travel" with this thing, other than perhaps from one room of the house to another, it seems like the inks could fall out if jostled too much. That said, all my inks fit (I have all manner of hobby-lobby-sold inks: versa, distress, staz-on, etc), and the sold-separate inserts are an absolute must for the distress inks - makes them fit perfectly. My only complaint is that it's boring black plastic, and I prefer natural materials. I'll have to spice it up, I think!

if i want to use this exclusively to store stampin up ink pads, how many inserts would I need to purchase? And/or is the answer the same regardless of the ink pad brand? thank you   By: User (26-Jan-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. • You don't need any inserts for SU ink pads. If you have smaller ones like Tim Holtz distress ink pads then you need an insert for each pad, because they are too short. • What is the biggest inkpad (in INCHES) that will fit in the slots?
Janthos, you say Stampin Up inkpads DO fit this, but SU's ink pads are 4 .5" x 3 3/4" big. Debklparis says below that the slots measure only 7 CENTIMETERS x 7.5 cm big. That would be too small for the Stampin Up inkpads, wouldn't it? I primarily am interested in this for SU pads, so if they don't fit, I need to know!   By: jackiesfun (22-Jun-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I just received a private email answer from Customer Service from Paula Knight:

"I do apologize for my misunderstanding. I have measured the slots and the measurements are approximately as follows:

      3 7/8" wide x 7/8" high x 4" deep.

I hope this is the information needed.

Thanks for your interest in our site."

So it seems SU Stamp pads WILL fit! YAY!
Thank you Paula Knight for measuring the slots so we have a definitive answer from Scrapbook.com. By: jackiesfun (22-Jun-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • If I purchase as is for $47 do I need to purchase anything to actually use it. Keep hearing about purchasing inserts and I want something out of the box to hold the ink pad. • You should be good to go, but be aware not all ink pads fit all the way in so you have overhang. Not sure what inserts they are talking about , but inserts come as part of the pkg. Hope this helped By: Paintingbear2 (10-Oct-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Depends upon size of your ink pads. Shorter ones like Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads needs the inserts. I learned this the hard way! I have many Distress Ink Pads, so I had to buy the inserts. Hope this helps. By: queenofcards63 (09-Oct-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
