The main reason I bought these enamel dots was the matte finish and I was not disappointed. I love the non-glossy look, which feels much more appropriate for certain styles of cards or scrapbook pages. They are really sturdy, stick well, and have great color.

They stick well. The matte makes a nice change from normal glossy enamel dots.
The colors seem lighter/dull; I'm not sure if that's the matte finish or not because I feel like you can get richer colors on matte paper than they got on these dots. The red especially is hard to match because it is paler than other red embellishments.
