The 9" Bypass Paper Trimmer by Fiskars is just what you need to crop your family photos or trim your paper for your traditional layouts. Cut up to 5 sheets of paper with no fanning, shredding or fingerprints.
This trimmer is lightweight and about 11 ½” long. It has rubber slip-proof feet so it won't slip or slide. It comes with a clear plastic film to protect the grid, which consists of measurements in increments as small as 1/16th of an inch and has a "finger guard" to hold photos and paper in place without risking fingerprints.

I have had my trimmer for 1.5 years now, and I have used it EVERYDAY.. over 500 Layouts and 60 cards, as well as pics and the blade is just now starting to get dull! This trimmer is light weight so it is portable, it is easy to use and very easy to store in small spaces. I would definitely recommend this trimmer for anyone with a low budget, small scrap space or for people who travel with their supplies alot.

About this bypass trimmer. I already had a large 12 x 12 trimmer, so I thought I'd pick this one up for my smaller jobs, and I can honestly say it is one of the BEST scrapbooking purchases I have made to date.
One great thing about this trimmer is its size. It can be slipped into a bag and taken to crops, you can carry it to the living room and use it on the coffee table....it can go pretty much anywhere. And because of its size, it is great for those small jobs you need a precise blade for.
Something else I love is the sharpness of the blade. I have cut more than 2,000 pieces of paper with mine and the blade is still as sharp as the day I bought it.
I have found few tools as useful as this trimmer...it's worth having two!
I love this trimmer! After years of frustration with other trimmers' uneven cuts and dull blades, I've found this. If you use the finger guard correctly, it always cuts straight (don't skip the finger guard or it cuts really, really crooked). The blade is self-sharpening. I wish I'd found this sooner.

I have been having the best time with this little gem, triming photos and smaller pieces of background paper.
I have a larger Frisker's trimmer that is good for 12" paper but this little trimmer is indispensable for my scrapping.
Although I had not had this cutter long, I have found it to be extremely handy and useful. Its size is great for keeping out and accessible or for carrying to a crop. I do so much cutting I get tired of replacing rotary blades to maintain a good cut, so I appreciate this type of blade. Fiskars products are ones I trust for quality as well.
The smudge guard lets you hold papers securely while you are trimming. I never have a problem with slipping.
My children are all grown at this point so I do not have to worry about children's safety.
I like it just have to remember to hold down the clear piece of plastic otherwise paper moves and you get crooked cut,
I don't like this trimmer because it has no safety features. I nicked my knuckle the 3rd time I used it and got rid of it after that. If you have children, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this. I was so afraid my 4 year old would get this and cut a finger off. It also doesn't cut very straight. The paper tends to slide while you're cutting and it cuts crooked. Don't waste your money on this.
I'm quite new to scrapbooking and before now, only had a cheap little paper cutter. The size of this trimmer is very handy. And the quality of the trimmer is very high. This is to be expected from the Fiskars brand.
This is the Best trimmer ever made for card making. I ordered two, one for me and my daughter. We already own several. I hope this very type is Never discontinued.. I have been using mine several years and it is the BEST...
This paper trimmer is wonderful and exactly what I've been looking for. It is small, easy to transport, and powerful. I love using it for trimming pictures and other crafts. I highly recommend it!!
