Description & Information

The Mix and Match Collection from Faber-Castell makes designing with color simple. Choose a color set that inspires you. Choose a medium. Mix and Match as you create. Color coordinated palettes give you the freedom to design your project knowing the colors will work beautifully together. Perfect for all you design, memory and craft projects! Art GRIP Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils allow you to add watercolor painting effects to your projects. Simply use a wet paintbrush (included) to brush over your design and the water-soluble leads turn into soft, rich watercolor. Apply a wash of color to stamped images or create beautiful backgrounds for cards and scrapbook pages. Unlike other pencils, Art GRIP pencils are glued the full length of the barrel for long-lasting break resistance and have comfy GRIP dots and stylish triangular shape. The watercolor pigments dissolve completely and are permanent, waterproof and lightfast when dry so you can create layer upon layer of beautiful watercolor effects that will last a lifetime! Each package includes one watercolor pencil each in the following pencil numbers: number 119, number 121, number 123, number 124, number 125, number 126, number 133, number 136, and number 251.

Product Questions & Answers

  • Are these a soft pencil that blends without water? Do these break easily? I'm tired of pencils that break constantly while sharpening them, its such a waste!   By: cjcain (12-Apr-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I generally use them with water....but they are very strong...not soft as you feared they might break easily. I have never had one break although I am very careful about sharpening any water color pencil due to the nature of their intent. These products were not meant to be compared with colored pencils which lend themselves to harder leads.
I hope this answers your question. By: eshryock131 (18-Apr-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
