Questions & Answers
  • What sort of product are you supposed to use when using stencils? I have a few and tried chalks but didn't give the right look.

    • Using daubers, stencil brushes, mini blending tools, sponges, etc., you can add dye or pigment based inks. Tape down your paper and tape down your stencil. You can't mess this up and it produces beautiful and effortless results. Another option is using texture pastes/mediums which come in many colors. Using inks as well as ink pad reinkers you can custom color white texture paste. Use a palette knife and return the excess to the container. Texture pastes and inks go a long way and last a long time. You can also use a transparent ink such as versamark and add embossing powders, glitters and chalks; just be sure to heat set these.
