Originally designed for use in the Sidekick Machine, this pair of Cutting Pads also works in the SophistiCut, Big Shot, BIGkick and Vagabond machines.
Constructed of high-quality polycarbonate plastic, these see-through Cutting Pads (also known as cutting mats) allow for easy die-cutting and embossing of Sizzix chemically etched dies and embossing products (Clearlits, small Embosslits, small and medium Sizzlits and Simple Impressions) in the Sidekick machine. Simply sandwich the die and material to be cut between the Cutting Pads and roll through the machine.
Add a Sizzix Adapter (sold separately) to create a sandwich for accommodating competitors' wafer-thin dies.
Each Cutting Pad measures 4 7/8" x 2 1/2" x 1/10" and lasts for thousands of cuts.

These are perfect for the little projects instead of using your standard cutting pads.
Love these little plates in my Big Shot. When you have a little die to cut these are perfect and take way less time to cut. I use the normal size plate on the bottom and this on the top. Works great!
These work great for the sidekick machine--if that is the machine you have..priced good

I have been looking for these for a while. Every time I found them they would be out of stock. So happy I finally was able to purchase. Like them to cut those small dies that don't need the regular cutting pads. Cutting those small dies goes much smoother.

I layer them with other pads and the die until the stack is high enough to fit under the roller and cut the die.

Hi,
i had an email conversation with Sizzix representatives and they said the clear cutting pads are only to be used with Sizzlits or decorative strip dies. They are slightly thicker than the chemically etched dies.

I have a Cuttlekids machine but no plates. I have some dies and some strip shape embossing folders. Does anyone know if any of these pads will work? And if so, which ones? The dimensions look like they will fit in the machine (the opening is a little over 3" across.

Hi there! The pads are 2 1/2" x 4 7/8" x 4mm. I think they will fit in your machine.

Hello, do these plates work on a Tim Holtz sidekick? What is the difference between Sizzix sidekick and Tim Holtz sidekick? Will the sizzix plates like the aqua ones work on a Tim Holtz sidekick as well. I�m looking into buying a sidekick machine from you and extra pairs of plates but I don�t know if Tim Holtz or Sizzix plates work for either machines and what is a better machine, Tim Holtz or sizzix ?

Hi! The difference really is in color scheme. As stated below, tThe clear pads and smoke color pads are different thicknesses. You need to have both (they do different things) The smoke color pads are for dies! Use the clear pads for embossing. Hope this helps!
