Keep your projects natural with the Sizzix Alterations Collection Tim Holtz Tropical Thinlits Dies. These dies cut through foil, vellum, paper, and cardstock. They work with the BIGkick, Big Shot, and Vagabond machines and can also be used to emboss and stencil.
I did have difficulty getting the tiki die to cut all the way. The outside edges of the die cut just fine, but the center did not cut all the way through the paper although I put it through several times. I ended up using tiny scissors to cut it completely. The other dies worked just fine.
Very pretty flowers come with this set of dies. Palm tree a little big but usable. There is no Pinterest postings on this set
I bought this die set for the leaf and palm tree. I also love the flowers on this set. These are such great dies and they cut so very nice even with such fine details.

I bought this because it reminds me of Hawaii but I have trouble getting the paper out . It gets stuck in diecut
I love anything tropical, and Tim Holtz did a great job coming up with this die.
My daughter goes to the tropical beaches a lot so I plan to use this a lot.

Good for embellishments for a tropical project. Now I need to go to Tahiti!

What are the dimensions of the leaves and tree?

The tree is almost 5 1/2 inches (but taller than 5 1/4...so like 5 3/8 inches) by 3 1/2 inches at the widest part of the palm leaves. There are two different leaves. The biggest (more feathery looking) is 3 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches. The smaller one is 2 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches.

Can I use these with the magnetic platform or do I have to use the multi purpose platform?

I did not try using them with the magnetic platform. They worked fine with the regular platform.
