Create dazzlingly detailed cards, pages and more with the Mini Lights Framelits Dies with Clear Acrylic Stamps from Sizzix! The package includes 15 stamps that measure approximately .5" x .325" to 1.75" x 1.25" and 18 coordinating thin metal dies that measure approximately .25" x .25" to 1" x 4". The dies allow you to cut what you see; crop photos, cut windows, layer to produce a 3D effect or stencil. They are compatible with the BIGkick, Vagabond and Big Shot machines when used with a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform (all sold separately).
I just received my order yesterday (I couldn't believe how fast it came!) so I
haven't played with them too much yet. I was surprised at all the options and possible combinations you can do with this set--Very versatile! And I like that the "string" die is included. It doesn't show in the product picture so that was a surprise. There is also a bulb die with a round cut-out in the middle and several small design dies that can be inserted. I think this set is an exceptional buy--you get a lot for your money. I can see using on both scrapbook pages as well as cards. Only drawback is it's a little tedious working with the tiny pieces.
With this set of stamps and dies a crafter can make an endless variety of lights for both cards and scrapbook layouts. I loved "playing around" with this set. The die for the light wire is really cute and adds "reality" to a string of lights. A lot of 'bang for your buck' with this product!

What are the die shapes? I noticed in the description that there are a couple more dies than stamps. And how tall are the lights?

There are 18 dies. Light bulbs and shadows with the metal parts (7 dies) There is a light "string." There is a Merry Christmas with a shadow. Then there are eight "drop-ins" for the light bulb - snow flake, a 25, star, heart, etc, The light is just under 1 and 1/4 inches high. I hope this helps. I really like this set and it will be fun to use. I hope this helps in your decision to purchase this set.
