You'll want to stock up on the Craft Tacky Glue by Tonic Studios. This glue is perfect for your detailed projects and general arts and crafts. The package includes 60 ml of super tacky polyvinyl acetate craft glue. The glue is photo-safe and acid-free.
So far I've only used this for fine lines on embellishments. It works great for that. I tried a fancier thing with a fine metal tip that was just a pain. The fine metal tip kept clogging and glued itself to the bottle so I couldn't get it off. And it cost more than this. This one doesn't clog and the cap is very clever. Keep the glue from drying out. I'll be buying more. Good value and works great.
I am new to this product and I'm very impressed! The nozzle is very small and works wonderfully in adhering tiny pieces in place. I recently used it to adhere a lacy doily and it worked beautifully! Highly recommend!

This is the best glue I own ( I have a lot). The bottle is a perfect size. The nozzle is very narrow so the glue comes out slowly and doesn't drip. The glue itself is tacky which dries fast. This glue is perfect for paper Quilling because it comes out slow and a little goes a long way. I will be purchasing more. Thank you Tonic!!
This is very thick glue and drys quick. have all 3 of there glues and this bottle is the only one that is hard to squeeze.
This glue dries fairly quickly, holds very well and doesn't ripple the paper, I used it while making my Valentine's Day cards and feel it was an excellent adhesive for paper, embellishments and ribbon

Does this glue dry clear and could you use it to make items on a card shiny?

It dries clear yes but I'm not sure that it works to make objects shiny on a card Modge Podge or similar products would be a better choice for the second part of the question. This is good glue for cardmaking - I use it for a variety of situations including: glueing card, buttons/embellishments, paper, ribbon. Dries quickly and minimum mess. Narrow nozzle reduces the possibility of too much glue coming out. Hope this helps ! Happy crafting !!!
