Features:

There are a million and one uses for these handy little Sponge Daubers. You'll never worry again about damaging an ink pad while trying to distress the edges of your cardstock. Give your project edges a unique aged look by seamlessly inking the edges with a touch of your sponged finger. Plus, with these craft daubers, you’ll have complete control of where and how much color is applied for inking edges - as well as for stenciling, shading stamps, creating backgrounds, and so much more!

Looking for a good way to store these sponge daubers? Look no further! Check out the Sponge Dauber Storage Box, which holds 40 daubers in individual compartments and has a latching lid to avoid messy spills when creating on the go!

How to use your Sponge Daubers:

  • Place the Sponge Dauber on your fingertip or grasp it by the plastic barrel.
  • Dab the foam surface of the sponge dauber into a color medium such as ink, paint, or chalk until the desired amount of color is transferred.
  • Dab and blend color onto the surface of a project, edges of paper, or onto a stamp in preparation for stamping.
  • To clean your Sponge Daubers, rinse them with soap and water and set aside to dry.

You will love the versatility and the results you achieve with these helpful little tools. Use your fingertip daubers to get smoother color blending, crisper stenciling, multi-colored stamping, perfectly glued corners that won’t peel up, and more! And the best part is, your fingertips stay clean and ink-free. That means no more accidental smudges or stains on the project you've worked your heart out on! Keeping one Sponge Dauber for each of your ink colors will prevent accidental color contamination –- and save you the hassle of washing daubers between uses!

You can also treat yourself to our exclusive 40-count daubers that comes with a dauber storage box.

    Control Your Distress Inks!

These daubers were just introduced to me as an addition to distressing ink pads. I was applying my 2 X 2 ink pads directly to the paper and couldn't get the control I wanted using that technique. Then a friend told me about these litte life savers!!! Slip them on your finger tip, dab them in your ink pad, and discress the edges of your work with excellent control and results!!! A must have for any scrapper who distresses!!! Enjoy...

    Best sponge effects

I am new to daubers - thanks to a fellow stamper in our Card Ministry group at Church. I really like using these and bought the case for them too. I put a scrap of paper under each dauber naming the ink I use them with and that way I can keep reusing them. I vary the effect of the sponge by using the sides too rather than just straight down. That makes for a softer edge rather than a circle.

Just a touch of your finger!

These are really nice. I love how easy to use with either inks or chalks. I have big fingers, so these fit snuggly and I have never dropped one yet to get ink or chalk on my design or clothing. It's nice that so many come in one order, I can have a dauber for each color that I need without mixing things up.

    Soft foam daubers

If you're working with flat paper these are probably fine, but my project had texture and the dauber didn't survive even halfway through. I washed up an old one to complete the project and it was no problem. The foam on these is not as durable as older product. I only recommend these for paper projects instead of mixed media.

I finally found the right daubers.

How hard are these daubers to find in a store? I've had no luck at my local JoAnn shop, or Michaels. Maybe they are just out of stock when I am looking. They really are that good. I don't know. I am glad I found them right here on Scrapbook.com, though. These daubers fit my fingers just right. They are durable and a cinch to use. Delivery was very timely and the price was reasonable for a bag of 10. Hope you keep selling them. I will be back!

    Sponge daubers

I love these sponge daubers. I use alot of chalking in my scrapbooking and these little finger daubers are so easy to use. I also love the little case that houses the daubers. I have 3 now, one for chalks, one for inks and one for the unused ones. It keeps my daubers from getting messed up by touching each other.

    Handy

I have used everything from makeup sponges to replaceable sponge and felt ink applicators, but my favorite method for inking has been these daubers. They work best for broader areas and not for fine detail, but for edging and covering tags, cards, embellishments, etc, they work great. It has been great to have one for each of my ink colors. I plan to get more as my Distress ink collection grows.

    Daubers wonderful

They make edges so easy to do. I have bought the ten pack and it's really not enough to have an individual colour on everyone, I should have purchased more. They are not easy to find in Australia. I'm so glad I found this store for so many great products.

    A Necessity!

Another necessity for any stamper! I use these regularly for adding ink to the edges of die cuts, tags, cards, layouts & photos. Great to use with Distress Inks. Can be washed in between uses but at this price, I just made sure I had one for every colour!

    Love sponge daubers!

These things are so freaking awesome! Stencil coloring is made easy with sponge daubers pairing them with either ink pads or Gelatos. I can create beautiful scenes with ease or easily add color to die cuts. I will be a lifetime customer of these for sure!

    • Depending on the type of ink you use on the sponge daubers, they will clean nicely with soap and water. Any water-based ink will was off easily. As for durability, the sponges are durable and will last quite a while. Intricate stencils with a lot of sharp edges are harder on the sponge tips because the sharp edges can cut into the foam. I would like the opinion of many users of the daubers. On a scale of 1 to 5, what is your opinion of how well the sponge tip holds up over time. Does the tip get mashed down or start to "pill" or shred? Thanks to all who take the time to state their opinion.   By: User (21-Oct-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I live in AZ and my sponge daubers have degraded over time, the sponge top breaks apart when using on anything but smooth paper. BUT having said that, I will say this is because my daubers are very old - years old. So, no big surprise there. I just pitch the ones that break down. The newer ones AND the jumbos -- LOVE the jumbos -- are perfectly fine! By: menardkd (06-Oct-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • I have been using these little items for a few years and am completely satisfied with them. They work so much better than sponges. They have lasted me about two years with constant wear before seeing signs of a breakdown in the tip. I still think they are great and have stored them efficiently in a box made for them and use each one per color of ink so never have to wash them.
